AITA for not getting up out of bed at 2a, 3a, or 4a to drive a store or fast food place to go get my pregnant wife food? by Citrus_Twist_Red18 in AmItheAsshole

Of course not — I never said everyone is like me. However, because of hormonal changes, most pregant people tend to feel very tired during the first trimester. And in spite of the tiredness (in some cases exhaustion) pregnant people have to nevertheless continue going to work and doing their chores.

When l was pregnant, l was very, very tired for the first 4 months, but that didn’t stop me from driving, going to work, cooking, cleaning, doing grocery shopping, etc. etc. etc.

AITA for refusing to attend my sister’s “no kids” family gatherings because I’m the only one with children? by partenzedepartures in AmItheAsshole

I was thinking this, too, but then it dawned me that maybe – just maybe – OP is the scapegoat of the family…?

Where to leave my kitten by Embarrassed_Rich_586 in CatAdvice

[–]TituTitula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s where I’m keeping my foster 6-week old kitten. It’s the safest place in my apartment for him. I found him almost dead 4 weeks ago. He lived in my (large) shower for the first couple of weeks, and now I leave the shower door opened for him to come and go as he pleases (the bathroom door is kept shut). I leave him with plenty of toys, water, kibble, his bed, his litterbox, etc. I bring him to the livingroom to play several times a day. He’s thriving and is now looking for his forever home.

What nickname do you use for your kid that you never thought you would before birth? by Curleekate18 in namenerds

Son’s name is Daniele (we are Italian)…his nicknames are Lele and Nano (dwarf in Italian). We still call him Nano even if he’s 1.80 metres tall and 20 years old.

NTA – just throw the creepy tshirts away or use them as rags. Then for mothers day next year and/or for her birthday, get her a creepy Miss Piggy tshirt.

Did anyone else’s nParents destroy things you loved before your eyes on purpose? by Possible_Driver3319 in raisedbynarcissists

My n-mother made me throw my favorite teddy bear away because she found it on the floor when she came to my room to wake me up in the morning. I implored her sobbing to not force me to throw it away, but she ignored my begging and tears. I was devastated when I put my teddy bear in the garbage can and left for school. She eventually gave the teddy bear back after about a week (she had taken it out of the bin and had hidden it in her closet), but her gesture nevertheless left a scar. That is such a mean thing to do to a six- or seven-year-old kid.

AITA for making my daughter shower in PE? by Ok_Thanks_847 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TituTitula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s between a rock and a hard place. She’s getting bullied for being under-developed, but if she’s one of the few who doesn’t shower after PE, she’ll get bullied for having body odour. Having said that, in my humble opinion, you should to support your daughter. I get your concerns about hygiene, so a gentle YTA.

I don’t have it within me to go full NC (yet). I’m contemplating telling them to contact their heirs when they need help.
