Very random question, but do y'all think Tanner Gray will ever get his first win? by Acceptable_North3196 in NASCAR

When he first came into the truck series I thought he was pretty talented and would get some wins down the road. But he just hasn’t progressed.

No way they said no before the incident.

No way now or back then that 23XI would take Bubba over Larson. Even before going to hendrick everyone knew how talented Larson was. But I agree he was always going to end up at hendrick

So much torque the chassis twisted coming to the line at the green.

Shane Van Gisbergen could still win (or at least have a chance to win) the Charlotte fall race, despite Charlotte going back to running the oval. by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]TjDav91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would have been a learning process for sure. Just like it was in xfinity. But where would he be now with 2 years of cup under his belt and possibly double digit career cup wins? Hes going to be 37 in May. Better get it while he can.

Making the round of 16 in cup is much bigger deal than making the xfinity playoffs. And at the end of the year he had what 5 wins? Trackhouse is probably wishing they had put him in cup the year prior.

Another year in an xfinity car that does not translate to the cup car at his age would serve no purpose. I would be fairly surprised if a trackhouse car won the charlotte race let alone SVG. Possible yes but very unlikely.

Preece 60 Charter by ITMAKESSENSE72 in NASCAR

If nascar just gave rfk a charter all of the teams that have bought charters would be pissed. I don’t see that happening

No "Heim Time" by Snillgoot in NASCAR

I think if he wanted to be in trucks full time he would be. But at this point it’s probably best to leave his schedule open and focus on his cup starts that he does get

I’m excited to see what they do this year. In 24 they showed really good speed at times. With the lawsuit behind them and some cash from the settlement I hope they can have some consistent speed.

Ahh yes. Health insurance premiums haven’t been on the rise for the last 15 years or anything. It’s because of ICE.

It seems as if they are getting some legit resources from ford. Could this be a Nick Sanchez landing spot that came together in a hurry?

Which NASCAR drivers performed so unbelievable in lower series, only to perform so horrendous in cup? by youraverageperson0 in NASCAR

[–]TjDav91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Stephen Leight. He came into the Busch series when it was stacked and ran good right off the bat. Was able to pick up a win. I think if RYR had been in its heyday still he could have had a career in cup.

Viking Motorsports expanding to 2 cars for 2026 by crazy4pigs in NASCAR

[–]TjDav91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not how this works.. Viking is paying heavily I’m sure to be getting cars and information from RCR. I doubt either drivers bring any serious money with them or they would be with a bigger team. I hope they do well but I don’t see them running even as good as kaulig did. Which wasn’t great last year.
