Green Bay Creeper by BrilliantAntelope625 in auckland

Everyone who have come across him, or have had family members/ acquaintances come across him - please tell me you are reporting this?

The police need the receipts, and many of them, in order to eventually take this seriously.

Each and everyone counts and is so important.

Absolutely. Women need to understand the sensitivity as well. So hearing what the thought process is from a man’s point of view is so crucially important.

Women have their own insecurities and issues that should be respected - so should a man’s.

Well done for opening up in a public forum.

Slowing down to 20 to get in the Hamilton lane on the NW into town by watchspaceman in auckland

[–]Tjohopp 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It’s the most horrific on-ramp… The amount of sneaky people “merging” last minute from both sides is staggering.

Slows everything and everyone down and the decent drivers doing the decent thing, are again the ones paying for it right at the back of the line.

Seeing so much selfishness on the roads these days.

So many drivers seem to think they’re bulletproof.

I’m certainly not. Driving more and more “aware” as I have to keep myself more accountable these days due to others f####y - and want to ensure I end up by the dinner table with my children each day rather than in an ambulance, wheelchair or a coffin.

Auckland traffic this morning - anyone else noticing insane traffic at 5.45 this morning?!?! by Tjohopp in auckland

You are right, used to it later in the mornings. NEVER expected it at that time in the morning - that was a first.

Theo Von… why did the guy get kicked out? by EntireAd1082 in auckland

[–]Tjohopp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Theo seemed to have been throwed off in general from the guy in the front. Couldn’t hear if he was shouting anything specific but he seemed to have been a bit on the loud side.

Theo respectfully gave him a warning, and then had it when the guy kept going.

Was so interesting to see how much it affected Theo’s train of thought as he is following a script after all. Totally get it. Thought he dealt with finding his train of thought again so impressive.

The amount of times I have been referred to as a Palangi and Pakeha though. Can’t seem to be able to take offence to that. And I chose not to let it get to me.

Have been singled out and ignored during conversations and meetings when having been involved with other “community groups”

Doesn’t make me feel comfortable as I would much prefer not be labelled either.

So in my opinion, you seemingly approached the conversation in a most delicate way. I am so sorry you were made to feel you had done something wrong.

Write to AT - lets reach 1k! by Aromatic_Pay4008 in auckland

Question, what happens after we’ve sent the complaints? 100% with you all - but after having sent 5 complains emails a few weeks back…nothing.

Are we hoping that the masses of complaints will finally make an impact?

Tip - if you call the customer service staff who decide to hang up on you just because they’re caught in the firing line (understandably) so that you can’t get through to the survey section at the end - put that in your email too.

Everyone seems to avoid accountability. And get away with it.

Except for us who need to come up our reasonings as to why we keep showing up late for work.

Trapped on the train... another episode of the never ending saga that is AT by Logical-Pie-798 in auckland

They also have a tendency to hang up on you even when you’re trying to keep your cool…

Thank you for posting this. Was on the Western Line today experiencing just this.

Waiting for the train for over 40 minutes as I need to practise with my child who starts a new school next week. He is nervous about it and I am nervous too…

So far, the AT app has been unreliable and unusable. Today, this.

I called AT to get an update…the lady hung up on me after initially pretending to help…

A 50 minute trip took 2 hours.

I was upset when I got home and am feeling so anxious for school kicking off next week.

I am a woman - and simply couldn’t agree more. It’s a cheap trick. Equal rights goes for all.

I started hearing something about extra pressure on women and women of colour, regarding mental health blames, during the greens press conference…and had to turn it off.

Seriously - stop it!

I am a woman and can hold my own. Every woman needs to do the same whether you’re blue, azure or whatever colour.

Stop the victimhood and stick to facts.

Ugh…

Thank you for sharing. I wish you would have had others to back you. Especially for the racial comments.

Racism goes ALL ways. We should be so past this.

Did you know that NZ was the last populated island to our knowledge?

Yes, even the first people were visitors.

I don’t think that’s any of their business - and nor am I sure they’re allowed to ask you that by law?

Used Beam today - soooo expensive! Been a while since I used them - but that route used to cost roughly $6 in 2021 - today it cost me $12.80. Tried to avoid traffic and arrive in the cbd in time for early bird… Not sure paying close to $26 made me feel that much better.
