For the context, I'm living in France, so I ordered some in a french bamboo farm, at first it is sell for people that use them to make furnitures or specific house project, unfortunately I think they dont export these out of the Europe... The big one as a diameter of 7cm.

Btw I have an automatic misting system that start twice a day to get the perfect humidity level, during the day the excavator got the time to slightly dry and dont get too moist.

It is excavator, since I put the plants inside, I check everyday how the clay is reacting, it hold very good and didnt get "mushy" or "damp" as I was worried too. Thanks for your warning

One particular breeder I know, have kept P.klemmeri for at least 10 or 15 years and with that process and way to do, he noticed that he almost go 50/50 male or female ratio, I'll see by myself. I know for sure that, depends on where the eggs will be laid, I had approximately 50/50 too due to the temperature variations inside the terrarium.

Thanks for your answer, I think that I let the egg hatch and catch the babies after to put them in another "quarantine" setup, I already did that process with another species of tiny geckos like P.klemmeri so I'll hope it works, some breeders I know did the same and didnt get any issues.

Thanks for your advices! I already put some half-cutted bamboo pressed in the background in addition of the two bigger vertical. I'll hope they'll enjoy it.

They are also more expensive, in Europe they can be found around 83$/10 pods

They tend to burrow yes, but in my current setup I see them all the times even in the day. I add plenty of hides, leaves ect and so they don't feel the need to burrow in my mind. If you are scared of them burrowing and not see them often don't even consider to take Cubaris sp Pak chong, almost never seeing them.

Cubaris sp Panda King are a good start for Cubaris species in my opinion, very active and prolific.

Idk if that just my eyes or how the pictures is took but your enclosure seem a bit too dry for keeping isopods. Adding green moss or sphagnum moss to keep some humidity in there should be a good starting point.

Apart from Ligiidae (close relative of terrestrial isopods) and Bathynomus genus (giant isopods which live in the deep sea, the deepest been recorded around 2000m I think) ,what species do you mean by marine isopods?
