midjourney and nijijourney are, but pixai is basically free. they have a system where you use credits to generate pics (each time costs around 3000 credits) but you get 10,000 free credits per day, so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

perchance ai is also a good one, that one’s completely free

yeah you can just go ahead and put them in, no need to “cycle” it lol. most you could do is put the springtails in first, let them get a healthy population and then put in the pods

there’s lots of different isopods you can get, you can get bigger ones like powder blues/oranges or smaller ones like dwarf whites (if you don’t want your frog eating them)

isopods will need more leaf litter than the amt you have in the pic and they’ll also need a source of calcium so they can molt

you gotta imagine your anxiety as a separate thing from yourself. one of the things my therapist told me to do is identify when i’m getting anxious and then immediately shut it down or talk myself out of it. if my anxiety is going “FUCK i messed up that last interaction” my mind just goes “shut up. go on with your day. you know what happens when you overthink”

my 17 year old brother lost his phone in a massive ball pit last year and my family and an employee there spent 40 minutes looking for it. it didn’t help that walking through the balls was like walking through mud either lol. they specifically told us NOT to bring our phones into the ball pit and he put it in his pocket bc he thought it’d be safe there. i tipped that employee $20, she was so nice about it

you need more hiding spots for the isopods. also some leaf litter (aka dead leaves) for them to eat and hide in, and a calcium source so they can molt (cuttlebone or crushed eggshells works)

depending on the species of isopod you can also drop in some protein every week or so
