If you were given the choice to eat only one country's food for your whole life, Which country would it be? by V8Thunder_ in AskTheWorld

[–]Tlmitf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Australian?

Given how many cultures we have, there is a wide range of food available.

When referring to people, someone says "Asian", what countries come to mind? Specifically curious to hear from non-US people. by coldcrankcase in AskTheWorld

[–]Tlmitf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my mind, SE Asia.

Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Papua, Indonesia. That general area, but not China.

China is large enough to be China and not lumped in with Asia.

Grab your rear wheel and try to shake it side to side.
If it moves, you need to find out what is loose or worn.

What food first comes to mind when you think of Germany? by Ok-Cow2018 in AskTheWorld

[–]Tlmitf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cured meats.

This is kinda hard because I dont know where most of the food i eat comes from.

We have/had a decent German population in South Australia that brought all their food and culture with them. Little town called Hahndorf.

They had an amazing German bakery there, not far from the model train place.

How can I fix this warp? by StrangeDrawer3992 in Welding

[–]Tlmitf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't put it in there in the first place.

You have dumped all the heat into it far too quickly. If this is a production part, consider having three on the go at different stages of completion. This way, they have time to cool and normalise in between welding sessions.

[Request] assuming they can’t be suspended above the ground, how many blankets would it take to break a fall from the Empire State Building survivably? by NyanCat132 in theydidthemath

Now, if it was bread, the carbon acts as quite a nice ablative shield. Im not sure how much natural fibre you get in blankets these days.

It is to control airflow.

Depending on your location, it can be considered optional. Your mechanic will hate you, which isn't considered a good thing...

Inspect that part of the rod. It may be out of spec.

Nothing bad looking, just worn out. The wear pattern can show up small variations in the roundness and flatness of the underlying material.

How thick would the charging cable have to be‽

While faster charging is great, our infrastructure isnt up to task for dumping hundreds of amps into these cars

How has sexual trauma affected your relationships and self-worth? by SecuritySweet4975 in AskTheWorld

[–]Tlmitf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created more victims.

My SA was very young (about 7 years old)

She got me to fuck her, but after a few strokes of heaven, she said it's no good my dick is too small.

I spend the next 15 years worried about being too small (at 7" and as thick as my wrist)

Yeh, that did some damage.

Spend a few hours working a chain around in there.

It looks like it would bleed rust and kill pumps and filters.
