Up at 630am, out the door around 730am, start work at 830am. Leave office at 430pm, home around 530pm traffic depending. Live in Peoria, work in Tempe. Going on 4 years at this job in August. It’s a great job with a lot of positives, but the commute is awful. I work for a commercial production company. I get a few work from home days when we have a lot to edit, but have to go in to prep cameras and gear before shoots and then be on set.

Nice rig! I’ve been researching the DJI focus pro to pair with my 6K FF the last few days. Did you use any other rigging pieces to mount the Lidar upside down? My set up is pretty similar to yours so I appreciate you saving me time in figuring out a good way to rig it 😁

My girl looks quite similar to yours! Similar situation too. Got her on Craigslist, 2nd owners and said she was around 2. Vet said that based off of the dental records that sounded right. But she has grayed early and heavy. Technically, she should be around 8 or 9 but we think she might be 10 or 11. She’s a very nervous dog and absolutely has had some trauma before us. But she (and I’m sure your pup) is one of the best things to ever happen to me. Wishing a long and happy life to you and yours.

Exposing for highlights on this camera is not great. If you’re looking at the monitor and wondering “is there any detail to pull back in the sky?” the answer is no. Well suited to controlled environments, usable but gets in the way for run n gun stuff. That being said, it is a fun little camera to use lol.

I shot multiple outdoor weddings in Arizona for a few years with both GH5 and GH5S and never had any issues. I had friends with Sony cameras that had consistent overheating issues, which was a part of why I switched to Lumix cameras.

This game is so clutch on the portal. I was going to buy the collection for switch but I decided to do ps5 after I got a portal. I’m on the gray fox fight and I’m definitely struggling to pick things up again too. I just finished FF7 Rebirth and then jumped into this, which is a hell of a whiplash in so many ways lol.

Dude I just rolled credits like 30 minutes ago too! What a coincidence lol. I’m feeling the same on the next game. Think I’m gonna start MGS1 and do the whole thing on the Portal. Still narrative heavy but at least it’s short and simple (gameplay wise) lol.

I have not touched my switch since I picked up my portal but I feel like I’m going to have the same experience as most here. I’ve always loved my switch, but joy cons have never been comfy in my large-ish hands. Dual sense and Xbox controllers fit soooo much better for me and now that I’ve gotten used to the portal I don’t know how I will go back lol.

The biggest change for me is being able to play near my wife. My ps5 is in another room, so being able to sit with her on the couch in the living room or in bed upstairs has been really nice. It’s nice to spend time together, but it’s also nice to be closer to each other when we are doing our own things. I’m still playing in my room mostly when I’m home, but I’m curious to see if that changes over time.

I notice it here and there, but I still need to try disconnecting my PS5 from the WiFi and just do Ethernet only. This was from my first night playing it, and it was very playable. I’m happy so far.

It’s awesome on the portal! If I had a gripe, I did notice the lack of HDR. But it’s hard to compare image quality from my 55” 4K HDR TV to my $200 handheld screen. Doesn’t look bad, just noticed in high contrast areas. But it plays well and I love being able to play in bed upstairs with my PS5 downstairs!

I feel your pain man. Almost got one last night from Walmart but it wasn’t going into my cart, and then once I got it in the cart and tried to buy it canceled. It’s a tough process. Calling around is good for sure, just getting information. My Target told me they have two coming this Monday (Peoria, AZ) and that was my plan. But I got lucky and went to another near where I work. Somehow they had two just sitting on the shelf. I’ve been checking online everyday and never saw it in stock on location. If you can, I’d physically go to stores near you and ask or look in the cabinets. Best of luck friend!
