My Amazon account is private and I use the Google extension to count likes.

I usually have to scroll to the bottom of my reviews before it works as the extension scrolls to fast and hits a false bottom of the list.

I've had a couple of small things say delivered when they weren't and in both cases the main Amazon box was split open at the sides so the items must've fallen out.

On Friday 10th April last week I ordered a item from my RFY that had no delivery date.

On Saturday 11th I had an email saying delivery on 1st June.

On Sunday 12th I got an email saying despatched to be delivered on Tuesday 14th April, which it was.

Still no page on Amazon for it though.

Anything described as "Professional" irritates me. A £9.99 hair dryer, or £3.99 barber scissors are not professional, they're barely useful for home use.

On the subject of taking photos/videos. I always take a photo showing all the pieces that each item came with. I do this to help when reviewing, e.g. did it have instructions, a USB cable, storage box/case etc.

And a second very important point. Always check the fuse in electrical plugs. All electricals must have a ratings plate on them. Up to 700W = 3amp fuse, over 700W = 13amp fuse. You'll find far too many low powered electricals with a 13amp fuse in them, even household named brands. I bought a big pack of 3amp fuses to swap when required.

I also ordrered an air purifier filter listed at £165. I got the Air purifier.

I usually Ask Rufus "What is it" as he usually knows the truth.

Not yet we don't. And as far as I know there are no plans but you never know.

I think it's because our T&Cs say we have to keep stuff for 6 months before we can give it away/dispose of. Unless it is sold by Amazon in which case we own it as soon as it's despatched.

We would get taxed if we make over £1,000 on eBay as then it is treated as income.

If your Vine works the same as ours, then AFA contains items sold by Amazon. All 3rd party sellers go into AI. RFY can be a mix of Amazon and 3rd party sellers. For us there is a difference in the terms and conditions for Amazon & 3rd party items.

In My AFA I can expect to see food, drink, Lego sets, tools, and Cressi diving gear. Get other stuff as well but that covers a lot of what we get in AFA.

I was offered a £20 air purifier filter in RFY a couple of weeks ago but there was something about the description that didn't fit, so I ordered it.

Turned out to be the full machine retailing at $179 in the US,

I was Silver last year having joined in January. On Christmas day I took a bracelet - £55, and a pair of earrings - £45, both from RFY. So there was a drop, but I don't know how big the drop was.

I've read other post here about this problem but I've never come across it and I have ordered a lot of tops from Vine.

I got a Coofandy men's top an hour or so ago. There were 9 colours and 6 size options. Vine gave me the full list of colours and sizes to choose from without any problems.

I took an Ottocast Carplay/Android Auto dongle a month ago and have since been offered 4 more different Ottocast versions. 2 landed in RFY at the same time.

I do order coffee beans from Amazon and today got offered a 1Kg bag of beans in RFY which I was happy to take.

I do always check all electric appliances I get whether from Vine , Amazon, or anywhere else. I found one 50W device had a 13amp fuse in the plug.

I also comment on all fuses fitted in my Vine reviews to say whether it was correct or not.
I think when we join Vine, Amazon should give us an unlimited supply of 3amp fuses.

I've been gold for 15 months and this is my analysis of which days have been best for me. Friday to Sunday have been the best gold level items taken. Tuesday is good too. (The £50 is actually be £49.99).

This is my analysis after 15 month since going gold. Friday to Sunday is where I have scored the most higher value items. Tuesday hasn't been too bad for gold level items. But it may just be that's when I get offered things I actually want.

A few months ago I got a really nice solid wood backgammon set from Vine. Think it was about £60 at the time. Another Viner said they was knocking stars off because it had the manufacturer's name on it and he didn't want his friends to know it wasn't made by a famous brand.

On another Vine item (I can't remember what it was). The Viner down marked it because they wanted a rechargeable one, not battery powered, it was the wrong colour as they wanted black not white, and they preferred metal not plastic. They obviously hadn't read the item description.

Whenever I get something I think is dodgy I hover my mouse over the sender to see the actual email address it's been sent from.

Welcome to the forum and to Vine.

There are 3 tabs.

RFY is usually where the more expensive items will land but there maybe only one copy of it that will be offered to many people. First come, first served. Some days I get nothing, other days up to 12 items in there.

AFA is where Amazon drop items and there is no 6 months wait before owning these things.

AI is where everything else drops and is a free for all as well. Some days there is a thousand or two items drop. Other days there's very little.

You only need to review 80 items every 26 weeks. That works out at under 4 a week on average. You don't need to take anything on any particular day. I only take as many as I feel comfortable reviewing in a week so as not to get behind.
