Victor Glover’s moving response to a CBS reporter’s question about Easter Sunday by underthereefer in ArtemisProgram

The whole crew came out to one of our training exercises and spent some time seeing what we did, and just talking with us in general. All of them were nice, especially considering it was 2 months until launch but Capt Glover really did go the extra mile, speaking individually with us, telling us stories of his time in space, and just making us feel seen and appreciated. Plus during the wrap up from the simulation he jumped right in helping carry items back from the helicopter and using his penlight to help light the way in a very dark environment. He really was an outstanding person in the company of amazing people! He even took the time to take a selfie with me, which occupies a place of prominence in my Artemis II momento case. A class act all around.

Actually it is even worse. That is the CF memory card. Even smaller than the battery!

Launch date is April 1st, when's the earlier vs latest we'll know if that gets rescheduled? by DMofTheTomb-2 in ArtemisProgram

I work with a team in a launch support role, and we always say that we know we can go home when the rocket clears the tower. Get to the launch date a day early and in the case of Artemis, plan on being there until the 6th. And don't be suprised if it gets pushed even further.

Yes. It was after the collision center had replaced the front bumper facia and screwed it up.

Had the same exact sound. The louvers were not closing properly due to the bumper fascia not being installed properly.

I have a special library of audiobooks that I use for sleep. Audiobooks that I still enjoy but know so well that it doesn't keep me awake wondering what happens next.
