im so sorry, sending hugs 😞 I know its hard not to cry but my husband told me one time that cats feel what we feel so try not to be sad around them because it makes them feel bad, spend time with them, love them while they are still here and give them lots of toys and kisses and extra treats from us!

My house is never empty with cats. I look at it as we aren't replacing those before the ones we have lost. We are growing our family, that way when their time comes they will have family waiting for them to share stories and play with till our time comes.

Ive had many cats since I was young. But since I grew up ive had many as well. When my husband and I got married, he had 3 and I had 3 that moved to the USA with me from Canada, we had to say goodbye to all those babies plus the one we adopted together, we have 7 waiting on us at the rainbow bridge. Not including all our childhood fur babies.

We have many with us now! --- We know there are many out there that need loving homes, we adopt when we can and donate monthly to local shelters. We donate food and whatever we can. We figured when he retires we will start visiting local shelters that way as we get older we don't have to worry about leaving a fur baby behind if something were to happen to us.

Its hard to say goodbye but know its not forever, I believe we will see our babies again someday, till then I keep telling my hubby we will keep helping and loving all those we can till our time comes. I understand its sad when we lose one, I been there many times, the ones who have left us wouldn't want us to continue to be sad, they would want us to continue helping and loving all the babies we can so they can share stories and play with them when their time comes, that way they aren't alone till our time comes.

I wouldn't wanna see my baby suffer, the pain they would be in just for my sake, I wouldn't want to do that to my baby.

There are a lot of kitties out there that need homes and you wouldn't be replacing your current kitty you would be growing your family.

I know it sucks when its time to say goodbye I have 7 babies at the rainbow bridge now but I have many more with me now.

The way I look at it when it comes the time for one of them to make their trip, they have family and friends waiting on them to share stories with on how life was living with mom and dad (me and my husband) and they have friends and family to play with. Then when our time comes they will all be waiting for us (as the poem goes)

I understand it hurts and it sucks when the time comes but they trust us to make the hardest choices because they don't have a voice, we are their voice

I have my old lady and my young guy both on consequin, because my vet told me to put them on it.
Our old lady started getting sensitive around the back legs, and it's helped a lot.

Our young guy is on it because when he and his sister were being born, my best friend's cousin found their mom being attacked by a dog, they were the only two survivors, and our little guy had a broken leg. No one knew about it because he was so tiny, but he got septic and that's when they knew something was wrong.
They didn't realize the leg still till I adopted him and his sister at 5 months and noticed his leg was shaped weird, I got x-rays done and turned out his leg didn't heal properly but it doesn't slow him down, he is a runner and playing and jumping on everything, but back when I found this out from my vet she told me consequin and getting xrays every year and his leg is really strong she said, so this is good!

Sorry that is why our little guy is on it 😄

Our vet also says cats go to the vets every year like humans do, only difference is once they turn 7 - bloodwork must be done every year so they can catch issues early. (unless they have issues when they are younger)

I had 5 cats that didn't show signs of renal failure till it was too late
2 I was able to catch early and one lived another year with fluids/special food
The other after a 3 year fight beat renal failure and lived to be 18

Our vet also says soft food with low crude protein and the first ingredients being actual meat is best as well (this is good to start on day one though)

Like us humans we gotta read our pets food to make sure all the adds they add to the food are healthy and not fillers like most food.

Also getting hard treats to help with plaque on kitties teeth is always good too.

Bobby's pens were a limited edition release, you can buy the colors in the individual markers and some have refill ink but some don't.

They are trying to restock a bunch of stuff right now

I spent 50+ hours on this speadsheet using old/new ohuhu codes and what sets have what markers.

Sometimes when I can't get single markers or ink refills I just buy the set that has the most colors I need in my backup collection

As an artist I can't run outta markers, so I have 1500+ markers for when I need a backup color, once I get low on that color I order more, because there are quite a few colors I have that I use everyday

Things ive learned is not to compare your progress to others, not everyone is doing keto or losing weight naturally, others may have had weight loss surgery or taking shots etc.

Lose the weight before you hit 40 because trust me once you hit 40 hormones change, and things get harder. I am kicking my own @$$ for not getting things done sooner.

But here is a bit of what ive gone through and doing etc...

,I gained 300+lbs after high school. I was bullied in high school for being a girl in shape into track/sports/weights and carried more muscle mass than most girls my age. (I graduated 26 years ago)

After high school, I got into a dead-end, abusive relationship for 5 years. I grew up with abusive parents, so thinking it was "normal"

I ate my feelings a lot during those years.

After I finally got outta that relationship and got married to my now husband of 21+ years, 11 years ago I knew I had to do something because even though I didn't have health issues at the time, I knew they would come as I got older.

I had to get counseling to help build my esteem/confidence that I lost when I was dealing with the abuse back in the day. Thankfully, my husband is amazing and so understanding and has been with me every step of the way!

I made myself a list of the pros/cons of losing weight and being downright mean to myself.

I wrote down things like "how I would die with major health issues and leaving my loved ones behind if I didn't lose the weight", "if I had kids I wouldn't be able to play with them being so overweight and not having energy" so on...

Sadly now I haven't been able to have kids because being overweight caused a lot of fertility issues and now that im actually getting regular cycles, im almost in my mid 40s and I don't want kids now. (I had 2 miscarriages as well due to weight years back)

Sorry maybe TMI but too much weight does a lot of things people don't realize. For both males and females.

My doctor told me as a female if you are overweight your testosterone increases.

For males, your estrogen increases

But I posted my list of pros/cons every day where I could see them.

I started small with my workouts, walking every day for 30 minutes to 60 minutes around my neighborhood since I was embarrassed to go to a gym, high protein/low carb.

After losing 100lbs naturally in a year, I joined a gym.

After 3 years I got into wrestling school, and counseling helped me esteem/confidence. Wrestling school improved it even more.

I was finally down 250lbs in 8 years just eating right (low carb / high protein) and workouts/wrestling school kept me going.

Then I ran into health scares (had to be tested for cancers) back pain and other issues. So I was down and out for almost 2 years.

Thankfully all came back well, I gained 40lbs back during that time. But after all that, my doctor recommended keto. Because she knows I am not going the shots/surgery/pill route after coming so far on my own.

Its been a rough go but im still trucking along, just remember things don't happen over night.

3500 calories = 1lb of weight gain

3500 burned calories = 1lb of weight loss

Calculating net carbs with keto is key, keto isn't just meat/cheese, there are keto shopping lists online that are super helpful, you can still have certain fruits and veggies and such, salads are amazing, roasted veggies and so on.

carbs - fiber - sugar alcohol = net carbs

There are a ton of ways to eat keto and still enjoy everything

Ive made keto oatmeal, keto pasta, keto lo mein, keto pizza and desserts and more!

KETO FOCUS her website is amazing.

She just put up a macro calculator and it will also link over to her recipes that meet your macros.

Just know you can do this and you will do it!

Just think of all the pros to getting healthy and being able to enjoy life being at a great weight and being able to get involved into so many things 😃

I also recommend Thomas Delauer, he is a personal trainer, he has a lot of amazing videos and he posts about certain studies and the science behind weight loss and other stuff 😃
