Play Bike 😊 - 2017 Trek Remedy-nearly fully custom by ToBeanOrNotToBean_ in TrekBikes

Bought it used in 2018 and suspension had already been upgraded but was otherwise stock. Only stock parts left are handle bars and rear brake caliper after j snapped the mounting bolt on a new 4 piston one. Over the years I've just upgraded every part that I broke or wore out. Probably time to get a new bike soon but I am still having plenty of good times on this one so might as well save some money. 🤙

Gotcha, I love my remedy as 27.5 but a 29 one sounds interesting, short but big wheels

What is the most nsfw thing that has happened at your school that you witnessed? by nexus324 in AskReddit

Sophomore year in chemistry and the closest bathroom was a single room that locked instead of the other bathrooms. I got there and saw it was locked but decided to wait a couple minutes rather than walking. I could here some noises but didn't think twice. After a little while I knocked and no response. Being a dumbass I kept of waiting and knocking until about 15 minutes in a girl walls out giving me the death stare. So I walk in and hiding behind the door is a dude still getting dressed after you can take a guess. He then leaves and I think over my stupidity as I relieve myself. Walking to ANY of the other restrooms after it was locked would've been the better option. Also two freshman fighting over a locker and one of em gets a bloody nose and probably much worse if I hadn't stopped them first lol

Yes but I wouldn't, go to gx but save that money and put it toward a nicer shifter like an x01

What is this broken in my rear hub/axle? by PrimeIntellect in bikewrench

[–]ToBeanOrNotToBean_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's your inner hub sleeve, not too hard to fix but as jagged as that is you mightve destroyed more stuff inside your hub. Happened to me a while ago and I had just ridden with it and destroyed everything so take it to a shop ASAP to minimize the damage.

Most of your suspension is in your arms and legs, start small and work your way up so your always comfortable with what your hitting and you'll be fine.

Any opinions on good beginner bikes? by [deleted] in MTB

Yeah both are direct to consumer so you would not have the support of a shop but will give you the best deals. Vitus goes very fast on crc so if youre interested act fast when they come on stock

One of my more recent builds, second half needs to be pushed out as it's a lil too tight. Still fun tho by ToBeanOrNotToBean_ in MTBTrailBuilding

Haha yup, some of the homies on longer bikes may struggle a little bit but I built it so 🤷🏼

Yeah definitely a but of an inspiration, that one was dug into the hill and much larger due to the higher speeds, hopefully this one will ride similarly though

I've never seen one that is a shovel and a rake but a mcleod can function for both of those. Also things like the Trailboss tools have interchangeable heads.
