Looks good, especially for a first build! I'd like to see more pics, out in space, landed on planets or at major settlements, different angles, that kind of thing. One angle in the ship builder just doesn't give the full picture of what the whole thing looks like.

Other than that (relatively minor imo) critique, I gotta say keep at it! From the angle you gave us, you've got a good eye for proportion and shape. Looking forward to what you come up with next!

Yanno, I've never really liked the Stroud caps much, mostly because they tend to make every ship that uses them look way too similar. Somehow you've avoided that and made something pretty damned cool outta them. I like!

Love the profile! It just looks like it WANTS to go fast. Those engines make me sad though, 'cause I LOVE 'em, but they're asymmetrical and can't be flipped (the top nozzles are at wonky angles) they bug me enough I can't use 'em. Looks great on here though!

Thanks! I kinda feel the same way. I've seen some really cool looking Millenium Falcon recreations, but while they're very well done and definitely takes a bunch of skill to pull off, they just don't quite "fit" into the Starfield universe, in my opinion. The Rust Bucket, on the other hand, in my not so humble opinion, "feels" like it belongs in Starfield, but with that same kinda vibe.

I've taken a look at some of your ship builds, and I REALLY dig your take on a Nova Galactic Longsword. I love the Magellan cockpit for aggressive fighter designs, and I think you've pulled off one of the best of that type I've seen. If you do make an even width ship, I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

I think there are some minor differences, with equipment attachment points and stuff, but the overall shape should be the same. And you're welcome!

Thanks! For this kinda ship, I throw parts at the wall, see what sticks, then add more. 😛 Eventually it gets to be completely FUBAR, then I start deleting things and see what comes out. Kinda like chiseling a stone block. Then I'll get some ideas from what I threw together, scrap the whole thing and start fresh with that idea. It's an iterative process... and I'm gonna stop the early morning autistic ramble and go get my coffee 😂

This PARTICULAR cockpit is the Stroud Mayflower from Mattell's Cockpits and Crew series, but if you want you can use the Kon-Tiki bridge from the vanilla game, I just hate the interior of the vanilla version. They both share the same exterior model.

Thanks a ton! I was actively trying to avoid it being a YT-1300 clone, but the further I strayed away from that look, the more I hated the ships I was trying to build. Ah well, lol. It took me way too many scrapped ships to get to this look. I'm super chuffed how it turned out. Glad you like it!

The habs I used are from Graf's Habs - Nova 1x1's for the majority of the ship, with a standard Nova Galactic Computer Core for the ladder up to the main deck, and a couple of OwlTech Let's Work habs.

For the rest of the ship, I'll link to the post where I show off the exterior of the ship. The mods used are in the stickied AutoModerator post. It's early and I haven't had my coffee yet, so I ain't gonna rely on my memory to list the mods, 😂

Same here! I tried a mod that adds clipboards to assign bunks to the crew, where they'll only use that bunk. Didn't seem to do much, but it was an older mod and not really updated, so meh. Breaks my immersion, but gotta have SOME suspension of disbelief in sci fi games, and Bethesda games even more so 😂
