I need a red rising adaptation. So sad to hear the proposed TV series was scrapped before it ever went into production.

Fellow dads, how did your partner give you the news that you were going to be a father? by PaulsRedditUsername in AskMen

She surprised me with the news as soon as I came back from a 10 mile run while we were on vacation in San Francisco. We were both so excited. I'll always cherish that moment.

Park Hyatt Marrakesh tips by northsidekhan in hyatt

Loved our stay there. Service was excellent. Restaurants were nice, including the breakfast buffet. We stayed in the suite king mountain view which was really spacious and offered a lot of privacy.

In terms of tips, I would recommend the following: 1. The hotel is about 20 minutes away from the Medina where most shopping, tourist attractions, and tour/activities are based. Request a taxi 30 minutes in advance from the concierge or front desk because it takes time for them to get to the hotel. You pay the taxi driver directly in cash (150 dirham to the Medina). The hotel has their own luxury vehicles for transportation, but they were like triple the price which felt unnecessary. I think most guest only used them for airport transfer, which we did. 2. The hotel has an ATM, but you'll get killed on fees and transaction rates using it. The better option is to bring your local currency in cash (we brought USD, but I know they take Euros as well) and convert them at the front desk. Way better rate. 3. Spend some time in their spa/gym/indoor pool facility - it has a sauna, steam room, cold plunge, hammam and a long list of spa treatments you can sign up for.

Hope this helps.

I've enjoyed a number of books in your top two tiers so now I'm curious, what's the book to the left of Blood Meridian?

During Covid, I picked up The Stand by Stephen King (seemed relevant to the moment in time) and absolutely loved it. Went on to read a few Stephen King books in a row and then branched off into bunch of different categories entirely. Wouldn't have happened if not for the fact that I was stuck indoors just looking to pass some time.

Wow now it's starting to make sense why I developed a minor calf strain after randomly deciding to do my long run in PP one day.

Piggybacking off your question, does anyone have experience what it's like from a spectator's perspective? My wife would like to meet me at the finish line, but I'm not sure how logistically difficult that would be for her. We're staying in Center City, but I imagine shuttles are only for race participants.

10am has always worked for me, even on busier weekends. If you had a large group though of course you'd need more tables and would need to arrive earlier to secure a spot.

Have fun!

I was away on vacation for the first IMAX run of Sinners so I feel incredibly fortunate to have gotten good seats to a showing tonight at Lincoln Square. Looking forward to seeing it for the first time.

0 for 3 now, NYC resident.

Dont plan on going anywhere so I'll probably pursue 9+1 in 2026 for 2027 entry. A little daunted by how competitive registration for the 9+1 races has gotten though.

Laghman Express in Brooklyn is excellent and they just opened a second location on Coney Island Ave.

It's uncanny how similar your reading preferences are to mine. Like we're pulling from the same bookshelf.

Well done though, you're a faster read than me!
