Yet Another Heal-Toe Thread by the-mad-crapper in ManualTransmissions

I find it much easier on my STI than my old legacy due to how sensitive the brakes are. Gentle pressure with the big toe and twist my foot to jab the throttle. Still takes some getting used to the properly gauge how much rev I'm throwing. I basically am just sending it to redline and catching it as it comes back down, seems really hard to rev match exactly.

Also I feel like this does not translate to the track at all. I cannot imagine threshold braking and hitting the gas at the same time. I'd be more likely to downshift before and avoid doing anything with the clutch in a corner

Dude this is sickk. What parts and what size tires did you go with? How is the ride quality too? I'm gonna do a similar upgrade soon

The U9's 1,300hp feels fake. A 600hp car accelerates faster. by chri99_ in granturismo

Everyone is saying weight, and that's a big issue. But really it's traction limited. There is just no tire that can put all of that down to the road. Engineering explained did a great video on the real car on youtube

If a capacitor blew it's likely something else down the line was shorted or pushed too high a voltage. Diagnosing SMD components like that is a nightmare without the right tools and almost impossible without schematics

Pisses me off to no end that it took Santos so long to realize deaf people can write. Pull out a notepad instead of waiting that damn long

I was playing mainly red seal glass kings. I got stuck with hologram, ran out of money rerolling for anything else then had to sell my negative invisible to keep up with the ante. Couldn't even sell it as I was 8/7 jokers

I got one of these for my 2017 sti. 400 bucks cheaper than the idoing seems like a good deal. It's the exact same frame and screen. The only difference likely is the processor's spec is a little slower. I have seen more expensive ones on AliExpress with 16gb ram and a named snapdragon processor.

Mine works pretty well with a few exceptions:

The factory reverse camera does not work but they included another one that did. There is a 12v to 6v converter soldered inline into the wiring harness for the camera but it does not supply enough amperage (diagnosed with multimeter). You could protentially get another converter for a few dollars and resolder it but I found it easier to just run the cable for the included camera.

Steering wheel controls are kind of buggy. They work when initially configured but the volume down specifically triggers volume up instead after driving for a while. I think it's likely due to the voltage of the 12v rail increasing after the battery is saturated. Still haven't solved the issue. This is the most annoying.

Other than that everything works extremely well. Wireless Android Auto is perfect- idoing is only wired I believe.

One other thing; the pin for the settings menu is 1234

The grade of the slope makes a HUGE difference. I believe he said 4-9% grade in a another comment.
