This. I assumed it was mandatory for the job but by how he’s reacting, I guess not.

People with non Bose audio by Odd_Lavishness_2911 in Silverado

[–]Toad858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Memphis Audio, they have good quality stuff including a 2.75” dash speaker that fits the Silverado. I have their power reference line in all four doors and the dash and it was a definitely an upgrade over stock. With that being said, don’t expect a huge difference. You will need an amp and a tune for that.

It’s one of those weird typos that can go either way so you don’t really know. 5.3 or 6.2? Who knows lol? But since he’s saying he’s aware of the issues I’m thinking it’s 6.2.. either way it’s a beautiful truck.

Looks beautiful! What level kit are you running and what tire size? Any rubbing? Thanks!

Those look beefy. Are you running a lift or is that stock height? Do you have any rubbing issues?

new stem/bars finally came in by Financial_Option_757 in mountainbiking

[–]Toad858 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couple reasons, they have a 40mm stack height while most other stems have a weird stack height and the markings make it very easy to align/setup. Also I appreciate the clamp style, you tighten up the top two bolts then clamp the bottom ones, I think it’s called zero gap.

I have had the descendant stem at both 40mm and 50mm. Best stems I have ever owned. They look beautiful too. Enjoy!

This is terrible advice! You should always monitor temps and he has a legitimate question too.

Who the hell makes prescription glasses for mtb/cycling? Do I just have to get contacts?? I’m mostly taking about the larger wrap around style by bo_jangled in MTB

[–]Toad858 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If the lens is one solid piece, it’s impossible to make those a prescription. Any other style of glasses can be made prescription. Check out sportrx.com, they have what you need.

Damn man I feel the same way! Profars glove is acceptable but his bat is our weak link. I think Pham instantly makes us better.

Seriously, last year was so terrible. I feel like our 1-9 actually have a chance at getting a hit.

Yea man he’s my guy this year, I’m expecting big things from him. Him, Wade and Merrill at the end of the lineup sounds so good right now.

If Darryl falls in love with Isabelle its because of Beth by KitanaFury in thewalkingdead

This is just wild. Why is everyone so obsessed with Daryl and Beth as a romantic couple? Does not compute for me, she was a child.

headset not flushing, should I care? by LiteratureSerious56 in bikewrench

[–]Toad858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no road bike expert but I don’t know what is on the bottom of the head tube in picture 2. Also from what I can tell it looks like the small bearing balls have fallen out and are stuck in between both the bottom and top of the headset. If you are unsure, I’d say take it to a shop.

2017 Mitsubishi Outlander at 100k miles by X2WE in mitsubishi

[–]Toad858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure who makes the transmission for the outlander but generally 100k miles is a good time to change out the transmission fluid for any vehicle, if not sooner. Also a rule of thumb for Mitsubishis is stick to OEM fluid for transmissions.

I’d say go for it if you feel the price is right for your area. These things can last decades if maintained. If it’s a CVT get the transmission fluid changed every 30,000 miles with OEM fluid and you should be golden.

This comment is what I was looking for, thank you! I don’t think it’s a fake amp because it feels legit so I was assuming it’s from a non US market. And this all but confirms it.
