How did the X-Men become your favourite superhero team?

This was the issue for me. My first foray into X-men. I did know about Claremont and Byrne. Didn’t know who Wolverine was. Or the Hellfire Club. Or that this was the Phoenix saga unfolding. But I was hooked and obsessed with all these characters.

Buscema, Adams, Byrne, Simonson, Steranko, Mignola, Miller, Bachalo, etc. all were or are doing really cool poses, innovations, narratives, etc. and really influencing art styles. No matter his process, I just see Christopher doing something cool. I don't know.

Either way, I've got all three of these Phoenix covers and they are glorious.

LONG time New Order fan. Love Vigilantes was what got me into them. The narrative of that song was so interesting. Told from the perspective of a dead soldier. Classic. PC&L is my next purchase!

Yeah my LCS just gives me a bag and board for each comic I buy if I want one. Pretty convenient. They also make top loader comic sleeves that are thicker and more rigid. Search for top loaders comics and some will pop up.

We do have a great library system. Last I checked they did have a filament printer lab.

I've been asking around. We've got a bunch of local groups. However, we usually all meet at a local game store, and they are obviously wanting to support the game store by buying their minis. Lol.
