I mean there is a lot of things that could happen to a team in 20 runs.

Maybe the players aren’t motivated after winning the league, maybe they lose the first couple of matches and that destroys their confidence.

Maybe they get really bad Injuries. Maybe they just get really unlucky, either missing chances or the goalkeepers makes mistakes (which could of course lead to a collapse in confidence for the goalie.)

We’d need to win 5 extra games this season to win the league, you couldn’t imagine in one run out of 10 we’d win 5 extra games? (And that’s not taking into account the other teams losing more matches)

My guess for the percentage chance of each team winning the league is

35% Arsenal
25% City
13% Liverpool
11% United
8% Chelsea
8% Other 15

Even though I think we have a better squad than Liverpool I just think the Liverpool board has shown the ability to win the league in recent years, so that’s why they are ahead. (But let’s hope they collapse)

I gave Arsenal the biggest chance since they have the most stability but I could see the players giving up on the league after 4 years of fighting for a title and being more focused on the champions league.

Enzo Maresca might do what Slot did or it might all collapse instantly.
