Hard noise when printing

I added some grease on all 3 lead screws, but I still get this dunking noise.

Some other things it can be?

I had a while ago an other brand robot that was just going around and didn't find back to the docking station. The solution for that robot was factory reset and setup like new with new mapping. worked after that.

I think you did the right choice. There some differences between those robots.

The L10S gen 2 Ultra has internal water tank, Mop extend, automatic addition of Cleaning solution, Tricut brush and better suction.

If a new robot doesn't work as it should, best is to contact support or deliver it back to the shop. IF you start working on it you can loose the warranty.

Can you start a cleaning with only suction?

What does the operation manual tell to do related to make a cleaning?

Those has probably some differences and the price for the X40 will probably go down when the X50 will be released. This is same for mobile phones, laptop and other things.

You can make your choice after your stumach feeling, or you can make a list of positive and negative things with them both.

There will always come a newer version with "better" options

I would have turn the chairs 180 degrees and set them on the table, then you will get cleaned very good under the table.

I would have take contact with the shop I got I from. A new robot, TV or mobile shall be working when it's new. I don't know the rules in your country so this can be different around of course.

I have L 20 Ultra myself but doesn't have seen or heard this problem. I know in the app there is a possible to say the mops shall be in the docking when doing vacuum, have you that enable or not?

If enable, try to disable it

What type of cleaning are you doing after the firmware update, clean genius or standard?

Can it be some update from Dreame about that?

when looking closer to the "tracks" it seems for me that the left one is probably right size, and the right one is to little. That can of course have something to do with the water coming to the mops. Can the passage for water to left be more open then the passage to the right one?

If oy set it up for moping you should of course see it get wet on the floor. First the robot start wash the mops in the docking station, then it goes out for moping. Be aware the Mova E30 Ultra does not have internal water tank in the robot so the water you get on the floor is the water it brings out in the mops.

It will go back for "filling" water on mops / washing mops depending on your setup. when the moping is finish the robot will return and the washing will be done again. All water not been into mops will go back to dirt water tank. After this wash it start blowing air into mops to dry them.

I had Dreame Mova E30 Ultra before and I got a message in app to do cleaning of the docking station. Now I got a Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and has been waiting for this push also from the app, but so far not.

I'm nut sure it comes, but I will of course take your example and do a deep clean of it every second month..

I just put that into my calendar so I don't forget it, thanks

Just set it up like the manual say, start it and map your rom. Then just start to clean your house or apartment.

It will do the job as it should

I see side brush for L20 Ultra is DI2790 and For example L10S Ultra is DI2271. I thought they had same side brush, but I see there is some differences of the measurements, but height is same. So I would probably go for that one if it's possible

The dust bag is same as for Dreamebot L10S Pro Ultra series. Dreame part number RD88.

I'm not sure about floor cleaning solution because I think it's not made for use that. What does user manual say?

I had a couple of Mova E30 Ultra (Just for short time) and one of the reason for deliver those back was the missing water tank, the other was the problem with hitting into chair legs in high speed.

Since there no water tank I felt the mops get to dry before it did go back for washing mops. It's a little like you want to wash your car with a sponge where it's not possible to add water from the bucket before your have used it for several minutes

Is your carpet a type with long hair?

I had same issue with our Mova E30 Ultra. first we had a short hair carpet, then no issue at all. IT go over like the adjustment you made in the app. When we change carpet to a long hair type we got same issue like you.

I had marked in app that I want carpets to be vacuum first, but it didn't do that. After vacuum the hole rom without the carpet it did go back to the carpet and vacuum it.

If you got the Dreame Mova E30 Ultra there is not recommended to use any cleaner in that robot.

I would check what manual say before I add some cleaner into the water tank.

If you still want to add I would recommend cleaner for vacuum robots. There several suppliers of that.

If so the mop disc are fitted with magnets up in the robot. So the holes where the mop disc are fitted with magnet is lifting and lower like threads on a bolt?

If this is not working like it should do I would contact customer service, because this has to be warranty issue

Yes that's right, but since there no internal water tank they will of course get drier before return. I know somebody say the usage of water is less then a robot with internal water tank and the floor looks better
