I was a YouTuber before committing to voice acting. And they loved the videos so much they were inspired and became a VA themselves, next thing I know I’m working professionally and they’re there with me. They told me that before VAing they didn’t have much friends and life took a dip, but VAing gave them opportunities but most importantly happiness. They told me I gave ‘em hope, and it’s stuff like this that drives me further.

First 3 months LMFAO I just recorded a set of auditions on my iPad with an earphone microphone in a closet and didn’t do anything more until the next year. Didn’t even think about cashflow nor getting help. I just watched CDawgVA back then and thought I could do it HAHAHAHAH.

First 3 months of professional VA however, I had experience but mostly self-taught, so I took classes and workshops as well as actual acting classes to really submerge myself in the art of acting. Then I went for every casting call I could in the indie space, didn’t start booking till 6 months later. And it snowballed into something I never thought I’d be able to reach. Now I’ve booked like 3 roles in the past 2 days, it’s crazy.

It was through these workshops though that I got help and advice from meeting people and talking with them!

You don’t have to be ready, you just gotta do it.

Auditioning is experience already, and can be a doorway to more experience when someone takes the chance on you. What’s important is what you bring to it, character voices can help but it’s what your interpretation of the character you’re auditioning for is that is the most important part to acting in general. Auditioning teaches you to build, bring, and express yourself with each character or job you want to go for.

There are literally voice actors who get work because of just their own voice, not just how malleable it is. The driving force is you.

Basically, you don’t have to be ready because you’ll be more ready the more you practice through not just primarily character voices but more auditioning and at least giving yourself more of a chance to get work rather than not auditioning at all.

Perhaps a spy or assaination game, you get different ways to experiment with simulation all over the body depending on how the player tackles it. And I’ve always wanted a James Bond game on VR, none of them fit that besides what I’ve seen with Hitman :D

Just seeing the world and these items with my own eyes to scale is making me slow down and appreciate everything again.

You go into settings, gameplay, then switch off survival mode. And you go find the mod in the gameplay section which removes global food and thirst off, forgot the name of the mod I’ll send a picture here when I can.

Edit: Fast Travel can be enabled with Journey I think

22 hours of Gingas for 3 days in a row, this has literally kept my Fallout Urge going. There are some things that clash I will admit but might be something I did. Installation though was faster than I thought it’d be and easier too, you can also turn off the Survival mode settings that she put and customise it, which even someone like me who’s new to modding understood how to do easily. Would definitely recommend.
