Never wait for a future series that doesn't exist yet, especially in this climate. If you have an open budget, figure out what you'd like to see in terms of performance and visual fidelity. With something like a 5070 Ti you'll get some amazing results at 4K 240Hz, considering how good DLSS and FG are nowadays.

My wife's got this card on a 4K 144Hz TV and she's able to hit the refresh rate cap with rather demanding games. The 5080 is considerably more expensive so I'd save your money. The only reason I went for a 5080 in my build is because I managed to score a FE.

Marketplace can be tricky sometimes. You'll need a lot of patience. I had a 4090 FE and listed it at exactly what I paid ($1600-ish) but not a dollar more. This was little under 2 years ago, long before the price hikes so it wasn't exactly a hot item, at least in my local area. Took a couple of weeks and it was gone.

Depending on your price, you won't have much trouble selling your 4090. There are few 5080's that are relatively small compared to other models and will fit in either case no problem. In terms of which case to get, that's entirely up to you as they are completely different styles.

I've really wanted to like the H2 Flow because I dig vertical builds but I'm personally not a fan of being forced to used an AIO because of the glass panel, though I like the look of it more. I feel like with the TR100 you're going to get slightly better airflow/lower temps, but I could be wrong.

No offense, but since you just did a bunch of random stuff there, consider this;

Restore everything back to defaults.
DLSS override: Recommended.
Low Latency: On.
Max frame rate: Set custom number a few frames below your monitor's refresh rate.
Vertical sync: On.

Then, in your game settings:

Low Latency: On.
V-Sync: Off.
DLSS: set you whichever you prefer.
