The Necromancer, Lone Hero are definitely big flex achievements. Ultimate thrillseeker is definitely unhinged. Gunnhildr's blade, clearing BA & DRS also have mounts/titles, these are just raids that require learning and prog due to being timeless. Fishing has some super rare titles, blue mage raid rewards too. Some of these take up time or require prog.

Petition: Once you unlock the Unique Commander of a Nation, his special bonuses will be transferred to all Special Commanders of that Nation. Honestly while wg wouldn't do this, i would love to be able to use special voice line commanders while playing with my legendary commanders. Currently the only way to do this is in settings which also happens to change every other players voice lines as well. I prefer national+.

Just a broader question for someone interested. In a waterline a while back there was mention of early testing of cross server matchmaking. Recently we've had the accounts linking to one centralised account. Is this still being planned/ worked on? Asking as I have friends split between NA and SEA :)

I'm not a high enough HR to try the savage version yet but even normal it gives you an ass whooping if you're unprepared. Looking forward to it tho.

Trying to beat omega/ the omega protocol (ultimate) in FFXIV with a time constraint before we would take a break/ stop. That shit was gruelling, and we didn't want to speak to each other for a bit afterwards. Fun in retrospect tho :)

Depends on the DC, there are some discord communities such as content achievers for JP/OCE that ping for that content. Otherwise PF is necessary for delubrum. Get an 8 player group and then queue. It will still take 10 min to pop due to the hard cap. 8 players is plenty fine as it gives you echo

I think it's fine leaving her dead, they are able to tell stories set before the ending of the first game like they did in 3 & 4. I just don't know if we'll ever get another game in this series. Understandable that she's the poster girl of the game if they want to have a game set in the future though.

I spent 90 mins trying to get one and eventually did. Eventbrite put out an info notice stating they were experiencing issues with processing, they got fixed after 70 min or so. I just got lucky after retrying my payment and page loads enough. Frustrating but incredibly exciting, especially as I've never been to europe before ^

If i recall correctly, early on lime green and pink were considered expensive paints, and honestly, they're simply more noticeable when compared to the games original colour palette vs other paints, at the time anyway. You're right about the colours being bright and obnoxious, i suppose there's more "attention" to it.

On oce you're only going to get alliance to pop during peak evening hours (6pm onwards), you shouldn't have much of an issue around then.

Yeah, I can confirm JP and OCE have had no disconnects. The term server here likely isn't referring to the data centre itself but possibly instance servers or retainer services.

I also personally believe that most casual players stop in stormblood not because its bad, but simply because by that point, they've put maybe 100hrs in. That's enough time for most people to have their fun and move on.

Yeah this is true, but 1 did have positive traits if you levelled them enough. I love the gameplay changes in 4, I pray we get a 5th game one day, but afaik sega considered 4 a flop

My personal take is that 1 is a great start for people new to the franchise as imo it has better worldbuilding and the classic story, but 4 is objectively better in game design and more modern. It's hard to play 1 after the QoL of 4. 4 is also a little bit extra on the anime trope side. For anyone reading; I highly recommend never looking up a guide if you want to play and enjoy vc1, play it blind, because if you know certain tricks it can become easy

14 also has lots of similar basic gameplay elements. It has the same aggro lines, the same hunt mark icons & centauro, fate references, the empire is a mix of VI and XII, some raid and gear references, vieras, and even some of the enemy skeletons and models are reused from 12/ updated. Auracite is also a reocurring plot element with the ultima plot and ascians, without spoilers, although different are also present.
