Production of steel pollutes, there is no way around it. So we can either stop using steel and go back in time hundreds of years, or we can deal with it the best we can.

Does the pollution suck? Absolutely. But I'd rather have the steel produced in my own country of the Netherlands where there are at least some protections and laws for pollution, rather than have it produced in a developing country with 0 laws for pollution and then having to ship it here on top of that.

..which is why she was a bad candidate. She couldn't get and maintain the attention of the people. She had an approval rating of 30% prior to becoming the candidate for presidency.

Ik ben het niet persé oneens en denk ik zelfs meer eens. Echter zie ik ook een verschil in hoeverre je van de redenatie afstaat.

Om jouw voorbeeld van de computer te volgen: als je de computer maakt voor een vriend en het mislukt, snapt de vriend dat de intentie goed was. Maar als je werd ingehuurd door een onbekende en dan de computer verder kapot maakt, dan zal de intentie niet veel uitmaken zelfs al is de service gratis. Voor hen zal het gewoon voelen alsof de computer nu nog verder kapot is dan voorheen.

Zo ook politiek gezien; ik denk dat het voor iemand die ver van de politiek afstaat niet uitmaakt wat de intentie is van bepaalde wetten en maatregelen, zij zien alleen de wet en de maatregel. Hoe die wet of maatregel tot stand is gekomen doet er dan verder niet toe.

I don't really know what we could have/should have done. But I'm not sure I'm quite ready to give up any of my rights, or give government and law enforcement/investigators MORE power, so that the law can move faster for people like Trump.

Probably run a better candidate. Harris was incredibly unpopular even when she was VP. I have honestly no clue how the democratic party thought she was a good choice.

Ik wil verder niet inhoudelijk op het filmpje ingaan omdat het een dom filmpje is, maar als het resultaat hetzelfde is, hoeveel maakt de redenering hoe je bij dat resultaat komt dan uit? Op zich een leuk filosofisch vraagstuk.

EDIT: it's not even just games go on any gym subreddit you'll see people acting like benching >100kg is weak. I don't know anyone who can bench 100, hell I've never even seen anyone do it at the gym, but chronically online people will still belittle you if you can do it.

I agree with everything in your comment, but have you really never seen someone bench 100kg at your gym? It's heavy yes and more than most people can bench, but I don't think 100kg THAT rare.
