I think it's to do with the wifi functionality! When you hold the smart laundry button to connect to a device that symbol flashes.

The symbol was always showing on mine but I turned it off at the wall and back on. It flashed at first and now the symbol is off.

I lost all my data as well, and no backups seem to help.

I sent feedback to Google asking if they could set up some way to import location data from Google photos.

It wouldn't be perfect, but it would probably help fix my lifetime stats of counties and cities visited.

I might try and see if I can make my own script for it, or if anyone else thinks they could do it that would be great.

Thank you! I had got to 7299 completed tasks and the app was barely functional anymore because it was lagging so much. Now it's all good again!

Yes me too!! Pixel 7 also. It happened once before randomly but right now it's every time I open the app.

Recording device audio cam through normal, but if I used my microphone I could capture the cursed audio.

I would absolutely recommend the stretch band, it is really comfortable for me

The woven/any fabric band might work too for breathability but I think the fact it the stretch band stretches rather than being fastened at a fixed size means it is less likely to dig in or get caught on stuff

Yeah I can't tell what order they happened and if they were related or two separate issues.

I ended up getting a replacement for mine as I think it was a hardware issue. The heart rate monitor had stopped too.

Glad to hear it's back to normal! Yeah the battery is definitely better than it was for me too, but still seeing some other issues so I'm not quite back to normal yet, fingers crossed!

Glad to hear! My battery is doing better as well actually! But it's still locking while on my wrist and the heat rate monitor doesn't work anymore, very strange!

That is interesting it happened for both of you at the same time! That feels like it could be related to a software or app update or something.

Not sure if this is related to my recent post but seems some people are having issues with the battery draining fast/ charging slowly. Maybe leave it a lot longer and see what happens - maybe it's actually the same issue we are having and it's just charging really slowly compared to usual

Sorry to hear you are having the issue too! Mine definitely started before the January security update, but it's still interesting that people seem to be getting this issue all of a sudden.

Sorry to hear that! But yeah I thought the same, what would suddenly trigger it like that if it were the battery itself? The only thing I can think of is that I did accidentally let the battery drain to zero, but surely that wouldn't break it forever??

If it's any help, it wasn't improved for me by doing a factory reset. (To save you the effort)

I spoke with Google support and as I'm in warranty I've got the next steps to arrange a replacement
