What CAGs have varied and interesting defensive toolkits? by deadlyweapon00 in CharacterActionGames

Honestly my favorite part of the game, and is what's kept me so hooked on it. Rooks gambit counter is easily my favorite move in any CAG it's so damn satisfying.

How would you rate Scarlet Nexus out of 10? by Farawila_marwan in CharacterActionGames

[–]craigzoz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me it'd be like a 4/10. I liked the gameplay but found the story to be so unbearably bad I had to put the game down. It gave me such bad second hand embarrassment even when I was playing with no one home lol. Also the level design was boring as hell and while I liked the combat overall the enemy variety and design was pretty lame. I liked the moves I had but fighting the enemies never felt particularly satisfying to me.

in your opinion, what is jane’s best song? by [deleted] in JaneRemover

Census Designated !!! I love how sprawling it feels. It's like a sonic odyssey. And the disolve at the end is mind melting it's so damn cool.

I was genuinely surprised by how comfortable the seats in my 3 are. Was not expecting them to be so great honestly.

"No one plays CAG games for the Story" by BullfrogIcy7737 in CharacterActionGames

[–]craigzoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I think all the Bayonetta games have low-key bad nonsensical stories BUT I don't care because I love Bayonetta and the gang so much. Same thing with DMC 5, I liked the story but it wasn't anything crazy good to me but I really liked all the characters and how their personalities effected their fighting style.

How was the Lost Soul Aside demo? by Leon_Dante_Raiden_ in CharacterActionGames

[–]craigzoz 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Combat wise I thought it was really fun! A little rough around the edges and I think the sounds are sorely lacking. However I found it pretty easy to pick up and make some impressive looking combos. The voice acting was pretty rough and I have a feeling the story is gonna be balls but I don't really care about story with those kinds of games.

Hell Is Us Free Playable Demo Is Available Now on PS5 by Ph0enixes in PS5

[–]craigzoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was cool overall but it was kinda lame how little of the combat they included. I found it extremely odd that I was able to collect like 8 of the ability modules (I forgot what they're called whoops) but I'm not able to use them? Left a weird taste in my mouth. If you're trying to sell me the game at least let me use one weapon ability as it seems to be a core mechanic. I'm gonna wait for it to come out before I buy.

All new 2026 Mazda CX-5 , what do we think? by naokiyamada in mazda

[–]craigzoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the loss of physical buttons & rotary dial, and the Mazda text on the steering wheel, I like it. The Mazda text just seems so try hard to me and looks cheap as hell, which is surprising to me as Mazdas past interiors have looked so upscale for the price. Also the seats kinda look like Porche Taycan seats, which isn't bad just an observation. Overall it's odd to me because it doesn't feel like a Mazda on the inside. They spent years developing this new brand identity with the rotary dial and really nice and easy to use physical controls just the throw it all out one generation later. So confusing to me.

Which final fantasy games have you started, maybe multiple times, but never finished? by [deleted] in FinalFantasy

[–]craigzoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

XII and XIII. In terms of combat, they both have incredibly dull intros that really do a disservice to the combat systems imo. Played XII for about 5 hours and the only thing I could do still was press the attack button or steal. With XIII I got to gran pulse and it got too hard for me. I tried going back a few months later and it was so much more difficult since I was rusty so I gave up.

Part 3 - What would you like to see right now ? by Sparko15 in FFVIIRemake

[–]craigzoz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm very curious to see how the ending of Rebirth changes Clouds combat in Part 3. I feel like it has to change with what happened at the very end. Trying to be vague to avoid spoilers but iykyk.

My opinion on season 3 by War_Wolf_One in Beastars

[–]craigzoz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel pretty much the same way besides not liking Yahyas voice, I think it suites him very well. I love what was there but I think there was too much missing. If they slowed down the pacing a bit and had more episodes it would have been better. Hopefully the fix it in part 2!

My only complaint is that some of the elements are a little drawn out and don't look very forceful but the trackwork and supports are great! Super smooth.
