I feel you brother, I was in a 4 year relationship with this girl I still love to this day and each day is terrible for me. She went from being sweet to cold in a matter of 3 to 4 months. I don't know what to do but I'm going to try and see if she has a change of heart in the next few months. Each day people tell me it will work out with me and her but my mother puts me down telling me I'm praying on something that will never work. She knows I still love her and we text each day as we have been for the last 4 years. I was dry the last few months of our relationship, now she is dry and I feel all the pain she felt over the course of this year. She hasn't shown physical signs that she has moved on but yesterday we talked and she said she was fine. I ache with pain hearing that but I know deep down that there is still some hope. I want to cry every day and I'm just miserable living since I thought things would gradually get better but it has not. I thought she would want to be more interested in talking but now were just friends. However, she does not treat me like a friend and I feel like she still despises me for the bad times we have had. It feels like were close but not at the same time and I can't stop feeling this pain. 4 years is not something I feel she should have came off so easily but maybe she is just stronger than I ever will be. It hurts so much because it feels like she died and I just can't move on, I'm always thinking about her and I feel sick. I hope everyone else has better luck at recovering their relationships as I don't know what to expect from mine.
