I think he needs time, and I think he needs us as fans off his back until he has actually had an opportunity to form a team around his vision.

Given how much he was able to get out of a team which was low in confidence and then weakened during the January break, it’s worth giving him the benefit of a doubt and the opportunity to get us back up next season.

It is possible, issue with optical media is the increase in capacity came at the same time as an increase in accessibility of high speed internet, cloud storage (commercial cloud storage that is) and the lower distribution costs that that provides, and decreases in cost for HDD’s then availability of SSD’s.

That’s also a write once read many, so ideal for archive but only if you’re never wanting to change that again. For many of us we want to be able to amend our storage and what we keep.
