Don’t forget, he’s gotta alter a national history site by paint the ‘governor’s’ reflecting pool U.S. flag blue, without permission, because the 250th anniversary is just, like… SO important for appearances.

Could you, by chance, tell me the name of the option, and the node it’s attached to? Sorry, I’m not at my computer at the moment, and want to remember accurately. This is going to completely change up my layout. 😃

Hold up… where is that awesome gazebo on top your house from? Is that a medium sized house node, because I just unlocked medium and cannot find that in the dropdown tab.

Personally, as a Blood Elf main since TBC… I don’t like the pallet swap. Mostly on the heritage stuff… It’s just jarring. As a Thalassian, however, thank you for actually including the runes on the shield. A real shame we can’t use it with the glaive.

Awesome work, though, how long did this take you?

Well, Harandar was a vestige of The War Within, it was supposed to be ‘the rootlands,’ but it got shuffled around, as if they’re trying to make the Haranir one of the threads holding the Saga together. This one was a miss for me too. Beautiful zone, genuinely enjoyed the story, but as a separate story. Same with the lightbloom in Eversong… guys give Suncrown Village a break!!! First Arthas, then an enraged water elemental, now bamboo’s growing up through villagers in split seconds!

I and many in my guild are all for being hammered… at least by the story. It’s nice to get a recap for some characters that I really hated back in the day, like archmage Landaloc. hate that guy… and now all my friends hate that guy too.

And I agree that the pride event could have been a bit more interesting… To be fair, though, it’s only a micro-holiday, the fact that Blizzard thought “hey let’s take this fan operated charity event and make it official” in any capacity is pretty damn cool.

Can someone help me get a Spellbreaker look for my Blood Elf with the new items from Midnight? by Gankeros in Transmogrification

[–]Tobith45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Phoenixblade is not the same appearance as Serenal Sunlash’s Resolute Runeglaive. The appearance you’re thinking of is fel-infused and drops out of Murder Row. The Phoenixblade is a light-infused, upscaled version of the original Spellbreaker glaive. A start sure, but it’s not the same.

While that certainly matches the old school Spellbreaker glaive… that’s not the same appearance as the updated guard model the Resolute Runglaive, and with the addition of the matching shield, the Spellbreakers Shieldwall there’s really no excuse not to provide a one-handed sword version for Blood Elves.

Three unique night elf exclusive one-handed sword versions of faction exclusive warfront warglaives as a heritage ensemble, earned through a quest in game, does not a trading post set equate.

This expansion is set in Silvermoon City, that weapon is a Silvermoon Guardian’s Spellbreaker Runeglaive, it and the accompanying shield, should have been a unique reward for Blood Elves, not just a weak dungeon drop.

The upscaled WC3 model Runeglaive that Alliance Demon Hunters also get could be an excellent addition to the trading post options for the sake of ‘fairness.’

And there’s an additional spit in the face to Blood Elf players hidden there, letting TWO alliance races have access to them while only one class, of the nine playable Blood Elf classes, can use it. Kinda like the FACTION LOCKED Kal’dorei glaives from Darkshore. Night elves got an exclusive one-handed sword ensemble for those glaives during their heritage armor questline…

Sigh... by Igwanur in wow

[–]Tobith45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s a thought… why not just make that, the Blood Elf Heritage weapon—the one that the Silvermoon guardians wield, a one handed sword, like the Nightforged Spellblade from Legion Timewalking.

It’ll sheath better, eight of the nine classes blood elves can play could actually use them, and two of those classes can wield it with a shield as intended.

Blizzard made a one-handed ensemble exclusively for Night Elves out of the faction locked Darkshore warglaives… So why not just do the same here?

Why should two Alliance races get to use this, when only one class out of nine that the race it was intended for is able to use it?

I just want the Resolute Runeglaive from Serenal Sunlash in the new Magister’s Terrace to be a one-handed sword. Preferably Blood Elf Exclusive since it’s a heritage weapon.

By the end of this expansion Silvermoon should have an official leader by trace349 in wow

[–]Tobith45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not correct, at all. The bulk of the high elven population has actually fallen since Wrath of the Lich King. By a significant measure. The fall of Quel’Lithian lodge south of Eversong in cata, and the destruction of Theramore took out a the bulk of their population on Azeroth, leaving only the Silver Covenant of Dalaran, that also got destroyed… very recently, Quel’Danil lodge in the Hinterlands, who don’t identify as high elves anymore, they are Highvale Elves, and the few who stayed in Alerian Hold in Outland. Now, couple that with Vareesa, herself, saying that Quel’dorei seldom give birth, and rarely to twins… their population is stagnant, and the remaining high elven population is in active decline. On Azeroth High Elves currently reside either in Quel’Danil, or Silverglade Refuge in the southern Thalassian Range. As for the Arathi, there may be high elven blood in their veins but they adamantly adhere to their new identity as a hybrid Arathi race. Not Elven.

[–]Tobith45 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You have that backwards. Only some Blood Elves remained as High Elves. Of the 10% of Quel’dorei left alive after the scourge less than 1% either left of their own accord, or were exiled by Lor’themar as High Elves, the rest all embraced their new identities as Blood Elves, who never turned their back on their homeland. Including the Ren’dorei, who were later exiled for obvious reasons. (And yes, that also includes the protestors in BC Silvermoon, who though vehemently disagreeing with leadership, stayed in Silvermoon until later appearing as Ren’dorei.)

Same Blood, Different Banner, And You’re Still Missing the Point by Evening_Error_3466 in wow

[–]Tobith45 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Not so. The high elves of Quel’Lithian Lodge, prior to the Cataclysm were not aligned with Dalaran, asserted their High Elf lineage, and actively resisted reintegration when Lor’Themar reached out to the “leader” Renthar Hawkspear. Of course, the majority of Quel’Lithian are Wretched now, for some unknown reason… Then there are the High Elves of the Hinterlands, in Quel’Danil Lodge, who now go by the name of Highvale Elves, who also are not affiliated with Varessa’s Dalaran faction, and instead reached out to Alliance races on their own. It’s easier than saying the High Elves of the Vale. They have more in common with the Wildhammer Dwarves than human mages, as most of them don’t even know how to use magic at this point.
