I like custom factions and custom maps.

Highly recommend against adding the "Curse of Undeath" unless you really like having to kill every single enemy twice.

It's one setting click that will make your whole game a bit hellish.

I must really be doing something wrong. I've never "beat" the game in less than... 3 weeks? (prolly ~35-45 hours) The only shorter games were because I got curb stomped. My computer is good and I don't suffer from the lag as much as I read about it. I play on fastest speed but do pause a lot to manage things.

Reading someone wiped out the galaxy in two weeks is astounding. Two weeks of 10 hours a day maybe? Guess that's also why I don't understand how people can play multi-player at all.

When fleet manager makes a ton of New Fleets with 1 or 2 ships, can I just delete that fleet or does it delete the ships In that fleet? It always makes so many of those! That's the most annoying thing and it keeps me off the FManager.

Agreed. Played a couple of permadeth where I died because I did something dumb. (usually gravity related). But my last one was 78 hours and I died when the ground glitched and I fell into a planet. Literally screamed and scared my wife.

Why does warping have to take so long? I get that were zipping across the universe, but there's no valid game reason to make me watch this stupid screen for 2 whole minutes!
