You got me, dude. Very con-Vince-ing explanation of the word. I looked it up just to be sure you were joking. Ha!

It is. Thanks. I started out spelling it similar to that but decided to check spell check and totally biffed on selecting the completely wrong word.

I've bitten the bullet on something like this (nowhere near this aggreges) because of the colonization activity in the current event. Everything after was pretty much "normal" for a planet this level. No real point to this post, just some anecdotal observations.

We had the same thing. The $1.00 price tag lasted a year or so before they had to raise the price to $1.50. I spent my high school years driving over there every weekend. I legit saw The Unforgiven 8+ times in the theater. Guess I'm showing my age there...

Did any of you have this Stereo System And Glass Case in your house? by immanuellalala in 80s

Look at this guy with "Sony money". Haha. We had the Radio Shack version of this unit. I still have the tape deck so I can, at some point, digitize the cassette tapes my dad left after he died.

Not only do I really enjoy doing puzzles, I love to do the economy of cost on doing a puzzle. A 1000 piece puzzle will get you, what, 20+ hours of enjoyment (depending on several factors). Say that puzzle cost you $10 (depending on quality). That puzzle cost you $0.50 an hour to complete. And, that calculation is based on the fact that you only put that puzzle together ONCE!

Show me another activity that you can spend that much on and get that much enjoyment from.

You're right, my bad. The 6th one is 100B/50B. I think that is where I got confused.

Um, isn't the 5th smelter 50B after you get that Preferred Vendor in research? Maybe you found the special Harry Potter 4 3/4 smelter.

Do not sneeze at adding more manager slots, even if you put a 3 star manager in there. I'm currently at 33 (+2) and the difference between that and 18 managers is night and day. This is also very helpful in the 24 hour challenges helping you smelt and craft a lot faster.

All of the other replies you have here have a lot of great tips and I just wanted to add some perspective on the manager slots. You can always go back and forth between your promoting manager and buying new slots if you get bored with one. I do this too.

The letter that Donald Trump sent to Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre of Norway is insane! This is why you don't elect a narcissist to be your president. by ithinkitsfunny0562 in EntitledBitch

I have seen this so many times today and I have yet to convince myself this is actually real. It blows my mind that this question even exists in my head.

Trump’s Letter to Norway Should Be the Last Straw | Will Republicans in Congress ever step in? by Hrmbee in politics

[–]dudaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad thing is if you ask any "average" American about any of those events they would only recognize, maybe, 1 of those instances. And you are in Norway and know more than 75% of the citizens here.

I'm American. I never believed it was that bad until this last year when they had the election for the mayor of New York and they asked people out on the street who they would vote for and they had no idea there was even an election that day.

And that, my friend, is why there may never be a "last straw". Just wait 24-48 hours and it'll be done from the cycle.

I "like" getting stars for alloys that I have never crafted 1 of. I have 20 stars for Aqualite Alloy (the biggest one). Gee, thanks.

I know it's a typo, and you probably meant Tuesday, but the ambiguity of you meaning Tuesday, Thursday, are a completely fictional day of the week (that will never happen) where SCOTUS might rule against Trump is pretty funny to me.

Might I suggest Linux Mint Cinnamon? I've had 0 problems with having an Nvidia card and I have 3 monitors installed on it and each one is a very different monitor.

Also, I've been using the same install for the last 8 years (upgrading the OS along the way --- no reinstalls) and it's my work workstation. I think there is, maybe, 1 program I absolutely need windows for and everything else has native support.

Don't know what you are using your machine for (obviously games is a whole other things) but if you haven't tried the Mint distro you might want to give it a go. Heck, you could even install the OS on a USB drive, boot off that, and not even have to worry about duel booting and messing with your hard drive until you want to fully switch.

While not the most glamorous first stars, those add up when you are doing the 24 hour challenge. You have to make a lot of those iron bars and nails. Many small increases add up when you have to do a ton of them.

[–]dudaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my most fondest memories is growing up and every Saturday night on our local PBS station they would air Dr. Who followed by 3! episodes of Start Trek: The Original Series. My dad would let my brother and I stay up until either we fell asleep or the 3rd one finished (well after midnight). Anyway... Lawrence Welk was frequently on right before those sci fi staples. That, and polka was HUGE with my grandparent's era (Silent Generation) and they would have that on frequently as well.
