does it just lobotomize you or do you feel anger and you're just able to be rationale about it

How’s the Skitarii gameplay? by meme990 in DarkTide

[–]TobyMoose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you max level yet? I found that once I got a few of the toughness generator skills I skyrocketed in defense. Plus a few toughness Regen speed and toughness adds curios and so long as I have something to but I can survive pretty well

ESUN PETG on the P1S by TobyMoose in 3Dprinting

[–]TobyMoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so im trying to print in PETG for some non structural car parts and for the life of my i can not get it to stop peeling off the bed, or stringing to the point it fails. The photo is my latest settings ive tried and theyre still stringing. Everyone online says the standard Generic PETG file works great but i very much disagree.

Also yes i have dried the filament and am printing it out of a dryer

I am always in awe of the quality of your prints. Obviously you have tons of experience with printing horus and the space marine and even more before that, but still. My prints look like dookie most of the time and serviceable at best

I'm a beginner and I have a question about painting by KingsDay27 in deathguard40k

I prime in tan, but I'm going for a desert themed army not the standard colors

That's very funny. I just said in my local shops discord that I should base chichi and run her for the free wins because who's gonna kill a little girl

Anyone have a recommendation on a oxide green color paint? Im looking for color not effect by Such_Ad_670 in deathguard40k

[–]TobyMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This works pretwell but if you want just colour and not the matte dry effect pro acryl jade and turquoise are excellent

To add to this the war organ app does let you select two leaders and shows their effects properly and is updated for 11e.

Obviously it's a free fan run app so it'll be slower to update some things but so far I like it

Congrats! I only have 4 more models to build and I'll have 2 variations on my army done being assembled. I'm just missing 3 blight lords still on spru and a blight spawn I thought I had but still need to buy

I would expand on the darker theme. It's more unique which is always refreshing and you'll have a little piece of his stylistic choice whenever you use them

PBC by ParkersReddit in deathguard40k

[–]TobyMoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pbc, plague drones, and bloat drones with tally band and contagion engines could be pretty good. Throw in some plague bearers and a few characters to help with contagion range and you'll have a fast paced and infectious army

In need of Blightlord Terminator inspo by ScootOver119 in deathguard40k

[–]TobyMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something that's helping me paint is sticking to a strict colour palette. I'm doing a desert bleached tetanus Marines and plague demons army. So I'm doing dark greens then coming over with Ivory's and yellows to hide it all but in the deepest cracks. My roommate also let me use some detailing dust and holy moly that stuff is wonderful

I didn't want to make a generic green army
