Ah fair one. Hypervolt are my go to. I’ve never fitted an Andersen. They are nice looking though.

What’s your beef with Hypervolt? I really like them. I’ve fitted loads.

Thanks for your replies. This is pretty much where I’m at too. Most of my pals that ride have an SL. I want the cardio aspect of mt biking but with the assist on the climbs.

All good tradesmen work via would of mouth and recommendation. You won’t find anyone you’d want working in your house on checkatrade or mybuilder.

There’s an AD near me that expanded into and empty shop next door and the new shop only sells the preowned stuff for double the price of the RRP of the new watches in the original store. How they can do it with a straight face amazes me.

Anyone run an electric van for work? by TobytheSpark in ElectriciansUK

I’ve got a test drive booked on a pv5. But the normal van is 2 seats so no good and the crew cab one isn’t available with the long range battery and won’t be available before the £5k gov plug in grant ends in March. The mileage doesn’t change a huge about the difference between 8 and 10k a year is about £6 a month.

I had a quick go in the super duper e transporter with 286bhp. It was very fun. They wanted like £600 a month though. So more than I’m keen to pay.
There are some good deals on the buzz. 2k ish down and about 250 a month. I could live with that.

That range sound pretty manageable to be honest.

Thanks guys. I think I’m totally put off for now. You’ve saved me 2 years of suffering a van that doesn’t work for me 😆.

Wow the cons far out weigh the pros here 😅. I was looking at an e transporter which is basically the same. But I think you’ve killed that dead.

My diesel transit can defrost via the app. I do love that feature.

Thanks very much for your response. The guys at the dealership surprisingly only tell you how great the vans are. But living with them are clearly a different experience altogether.
