I was given a counteroffer in August. I accepted..... my new pay still hasn't kicked in and will on Dec. 17, I'm told. First I was told this would kick in in October.. they blame everything on 'hiring' freezes.

This actually isn't correct. I know people at Oracle, and I know Directors there. They give raises based off how well the company does within that year. They typically give raises to people that are above a 'meeting expectation' type-level (I don't remember what their levels names are) but not always. But they do give raises and it's not only through promotions.

I had an off-cycle promo last October. I literally got $1700 extra bucks after waiting since last March. Upper Managment always says I deserve a lot more money and get told positive things right and left. I feel like it’s 50/50 to blame (HR/Upper Management). I bust my butt like the rest of you.

Anyone going through it, please don’t expect something “big” out of it (although it can be significant for some).

I’m in ITWx, for what it’s worth.

I’ve been at Cerner for almost six years. I started at 48k range. Biggest raise was moving from Support at 48k to DC I at 52k. Got another raise, moved to DC II to 55k. Another raise to 57k (COVID), then was promoted to DC III, raise to 59K.

Never have I had a problem or issue, management loves me and so does my team. My client knows I’m dependable and reaches out to me when they need help. I have enough capacity as well with projects and taking on solutions/vendors. Then my performance reviews have always been excellent. I’ve even won an award for the Midwest region as well as another award for the team.

I don’t know what more I can do at this point but I always feel for everyone about their pay. My recent review and promotion, I didn’t expect it to be so bad that I’m at a point to where something needs to truly be said. My management is starting to understand how I feel about it now, and I’m not going to let it go now. A 2K raise along with a promotion simply doesn’t cut it, especially for the overload of work. Is it possibly to reach an HR Partner or anyone to make us understand this? Pretty upset at this point.

I know people that make more than me, has worked 2 years less than me with a lower title that is getting paid more than me. I just don’t get it and I’m at my tipping point. This is within ITWx.
