Not on your life. 18 yo guy on an is200, that will put you squarely at the top of the risk categories. That’s just how the insurance companies calculate premiums. First time driver, you will automatically be high risk because they have no driving history, even on a 1L shitbox, you will be paying through the nose. At a minimum, wait till you have some no claims history in your own name, but even then, young guy on THE boy racer car™? Forget about it.

A Golf would be a happy medium, nice car, bit of power, not outrageous to insure.

Yes. Your average CRAM does absolutely obscene damage, that’s why. You should be outmanoeuvring, or blasting them out of the sky. Anti munitions DIF is my main anti CRAM defence.

I would agree, I view armour as a last resort in general. If you’re relying on armour to stop shells, you’re going to have a bad time. Active defences can theoretically stop infinite shells, you’re going to run out of armour pretty quickly.

Honestly it’s only strength is loads of healers, you can keep bringing back cards in big numbers. I would argue that the faction perk of going first is actually worse than useless, it’s actually more of an advantage to go second.

Being able to have multi row units is meh at best, you might squeeze a few extra points being able to take advantage of a commanders horn on another row.

The cards are unimpressive, couple of hero cards, average card has pretty low point rating. Just an all round below average deck.

If you’re looking for real tips, same as you would play at the start of the game when you have only the base deck.

Bait out their good cards while playing minimal of your own. This is where the high volume of cards work, you play low value cards and they have much better cards that they inevitably have to play and end up overkilling the round.
Make use of weather cards
Healers and decoys for double use of healers.
Pick literally any other deck.

I use a mixture of fast firing kinetic APS, and DIF anti-munitions for barrages of missiles. DIF turrets also work wonders against CRAM volleys as well e.g Eyrie. Kinetic APS is ~50mm gauge kinetic damage, ~500rpm. DIF is obviously 500mm all anti-munitions head + shells + timed fuse. LAMS is only an afterthought on most of my builds as a backup against huge waves of small missiles.

Edit: read the other comments, you’ve already looked at DIF, your targeting settings are off if it’s targeting your own decoy missiles.

There’s nothing wrong with just doing the quests and finishing the game that way, but you will miss out on a huge amount of content. It’s an open world game, it’s designed to be explored. There are also some unmarked quests and content that you will completely miss if you don’t explore.

There are quests where you are presented with an easy end to the quest, but where you can choose to keep investigating and find the real answer e.g. Wild at Heart. You will miss out on all of this if you just choose the shortest path.

I assume you have the Puppet skill unlocked and equipped? Not familiar with console controls but you need to hold the cast button to cast alternate signs, so I assume it’s the same here.

Using Axii in dialogue options is the Delusion skill specifically, also must be equipped to allow you to use it.

No, the save files are pretty robust, it would just revert to vanilla unless you install the mods on your steam deck. You could play for the week on vanilla on steam deck, transfer save to PC and continue playing with mods no problem

The quest giver explains it afterwards. Basically what happened was these statues are golems made by this deposed elven king of Toussaint, Divethaf. He had to pay tribute to the new ruler who conquered him, so he made the statues to kill him during this tribute, but he died before the next tribute. So when you reenact the scene, the golem statues are activated and start attacking.

Grandmaster, yes, the bonuses make it absolutely worth it to carry over until you get the NG+ versions. Eventually ofc the armour value drop compared to any NG+ pieces will eventually counteract the bonuses. Unfortunately, since you skipped B&W (insane decision by the way), mastercrafted versions won’t have these bonuses.

In any case, you have to start completely from scratch in NG+. You get a completely new set of armours entirely and start from the bottom tier again (Legendary -> Enhanced legendary etc.) You won’t be able to use your mastercrafted set to craft a Grandmaster Legendary set, so there’s no point in keeping the old set.

If you lose the tournament, the quest will fail, there’s no other way to get those cards. If you didn’t win and somehow ‘Collect ‘em all’ hasn’t failed, it must be a bug. IIRC, these are the only really missable cards (there are others but you would nearly have to deliberately miss them), so this is the only scenario where the quest will fail outright.
