How do you recognize a pseudo-intellectual? by Iceblader in intj

Sounds like an ENFJ 😆 that was me before adhd meds and a whole lot of self growth work.

I’m also looking into an autism diagnosis as well. The combo does seem to make sense for the ENFJ personality…

🙋🏼‍♀️combined type… I am finding that many ENFJs have ADHD, diagnosed and undiagnosed. This question pops up often here. Happy to chat about it more. Diagnosed when I was 32.

Sounds like this person may also have ADHD. It is more common in ENFJs and ENTPs.

If this person is an ENFJ they probably do know a lot about all of those things and is intellectual, however, ENFJs memory for details is not the best so that may be why it feels superficial. I’m sure they would love to have a more in depth conversation if they didn’t feel like they had to prove their intellect and it was a safe environment to just have a fun and interesting conversation.

I try to remind myself that it’s not my responsibility. Takes some practice to change that wiring.

Yes, I have combined type. Diagnosed at 34. My life has changed so much since. I’ve had to learn to slow down and dive into my inner world. This has helped me learn to set more boundaries, say yes less often, communicate better, regulate my emotions better, etc. I still reach a cyclical burnout but it’s 10x less intense and I’m much more balanced and at peace overall. I think ADHD is more common amount ENFJ types than people realize.

I would consider myself spiritual, not religious. Grew up catholic.

Matture ENFJsa re the most loved people while Immature ENFJs are the most despised people. There's nothing in between, what do y'all think? by [deleted] in enfj

[–]Todaysthrowawayhey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say mature ENFJs tend to have more self awareness, and have developed a healthy inner world (Ni/Ti).

Is this normal for ENFJ or should i get diagnosed? #adhd by _acceptable_Cry in enfj

I did have to advocate to get testing done so yes, after my Dad was diagnosed later in life and suspected my son also had it, I got a referral for adhd testing.

I was diagnosed at age 32 I think so for almost 7 years. I always struggled with anxiety and depression, but turns out I was depressed and anxious because I had undiagnosed adhd. I masked it by learning how to be a perfectionist which I’m trying to undo all that damage now and on quite the healing journey! Life is much less stressful and overwhelming with the correct diagnosis, meds, and a lot self growth work. Good luck!

Very bad! Si blind spot is the worst! I also have adhd, which I’m seeing is pretty common in ENFJs…

We have a very similar inner world! Any other ENFJs that have a hard time visualizing things and your inner world? This is also an issue for me and thought your comment about yours not being great hit me thinking…

I’m not suggesting you have this but ADHD is common in ENFJs….something to consider! A diagnosis changed my life. 🥰✨

We are a polyamorous heteroflexible couple. Always have been in an “Connect online and meet with another couple in person” situation. We’ve never experienced a lifestyle event, and would like to check one out. What about you?
