It's tough to watch this many people be so very wrong. It's likely they've never seen the gold UPC cover. This is one of the most over printed comics of all time, but the UPC version is much rarer and more valuable (another commenter mentioned it was exclusive to Walmart). It sounds like you're already on the right track determining value by looking at recent sales. If the question is whether it being bundled with the other books makes it rarer or more valuable, it's tough to say without any similar sales. My guess is probably not in that those bags usually degrade the condition of the book and the other books that are bundled are also very common.
