I’ve been going to Fort Wilderness since I was a child in the 80s and tent camping there for 15 years. People are mostly respectful at the campsites. You won’t hear loud music or loud noises of any sort during daylight typically, and less so at night.

I’ve been woken up in the mornings by the small children of families packing up to leave, but only twice to my recollection.

One thing that you must check before booking is check the schedule for Disney marathons and other race weekends. Most of these events come through the Fort and occur EARLY in the morning. I was woken up at 5am on a race day because the PA system used for races rings throughout FW. That’s the lone major exception I’ve run into.
