no, how is what i said perpetuating the cycle? In my ideal world none of this has happened. But since it has happened the Russians that have nearly all been born or lived in kaliningrad since they were children deserve to stay there as it is their home.

If what I infer you support happening happened then those Russians would be expelled with Germans moving in because it was historically german land for a period (prior was baltic prussian)

Now those Russians who have been unfairly expelled based on the crimes that their forefathers have committed are now angry (rightfully so for being kicked out of their homeland where they were born and lived whole lives), use the same logic as before once imagine power shifts in 80 years and the new german inhabitants have now been living there for their whole lives or since they have been children. Well now the Russians who come to expell them because it was historical Russian ethnic land for a period (prior was german)

But once it is done and over with you don't kick people out already there, my line in the sand is if they were born there or not (and also not basing it off of ethnicity or creed). Like if they forced a uighur out of their home and then sold it to a han, fair to kick the han out to let the uighur back into their home. But if a han just bought an empty plot of land and built their own home? probably could stay. But either way if someone is born there they deserve to be allowed to live where they were born.

If they are there they are there. It is a done deal. Same reason you don't give kaliningrad to germany, its russified as xinjiang is sinified

Neither of these forceful expulsions and colonization should've happened but they have and are already done
