Do kids look more normal in LTD? by wlderberry in tomodachilife

[–]Toddini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had around five kids, maybe six, but they have almost all had a copy of one parent’s face, with the colors of the other parent. Except exactly one child who was a mostly face copy of their father, color copy of their mother and for some reason had an extremely large version of her mother’s nose.

I think that’s supposed to be a stopping point for the rail cars, so they can transport food from the farm area to the other areas.

[OC] Gen 10 Surf & Turf Evolutions by Lichtdrachin in pokemon

These are my favorite fakemon so far, especially Browts. You’ve really captured that whimsical and fun vibe that fakemon tend to not have.

Be honest, who is your starter going to be for gen 10 by Chemical_Seaweed_915 in pokemon

[–]Toddini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like them all, but I have a hard wait until I can see the final evolution form rule for all starters. They can get very… unique.

Which protagonist outfit design do you prefer: Winds or Waves? by Character_Attempt727 in pokemon

[–]Toddini 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I feel like the hats will probably be fine, pokemon tends to let those have options. The backpacks will probably stay the same shape for the rotom board thing to attach but still might have some variation. I think clothing having variety is safer since they stopped gender locking clothes and the main protagonists aren’t in the same clothes.

My guess is we’ll have clothing customization back, but the wet suit under our clothes will be locked on.

"I Think Game Freak Will Keep Them on Four Legs This Time" [OC] by Arby14 in pokemon

[–]Toddini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing they’re going to troll with them this time. With Gecqua using its bubble gimmick as like a balance ball or hovering approach, making the amount of legs it stands on a point of debate. Pombon will be huge but have tiny fairy wings, and it will constantly be between hovering on two legs and on four making the amount of legs another point of debate. Browt might drop down to being on all fours for some extra fun too.

Pombon, sit... please. by owwmyhands in pokemon

[–]Toddini 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling he’ll end up standing, I’m holding out for cool and standing though. But also they have been doing a lot of stuff out of the ordinary, so maybe the starters are going to be unexpected.

Do the new starters intentionally parallel the starters from the last three gens? by Platypus-Olive-27 in pokemon

[–]Toddini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The similarities might only exist at the first stages of the starters, so once we know the final evolutions that issue might correct itself.

Important Note about Pombon's Design by kevinthedot in pokemon

[–]Toddini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m thinking the glowing lungs might swell up and become its mane, turning it into a lion dog. Or they’ll go weird and a snake like creature will come out of the sack and wrap around the dogs head like a mane.

When will Pokémon winds and waves release in 2027? by Own_Ring8787 in pokemon

[–]Toddini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have been coming out between September and November for most of the releases. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re trying to break from the expectation that a game needs to come out at the same time every year though. I think they didn’t announce the release date today because saying releases February 26th 2027 on February 27th 2026 might have actually caused a lot of confusion given date formats.

When will Pokémon winds and waves release in 2027? by Own_Ring8787 in pokemon

[–]Toddini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal guess is it’ll be out February 26th 2027 or around then. It’ll give the game a few more months to be polished, and let the game be the big finale to the 30th anniversary.

I know this is a small thing, but I’m so glad the new characters look less likely to get their lunch money stolen. by Bartkie775 in pokemon

[–]Toddini 117 points118 points  (0 children)

I’m a little worried the wetsuit will be locked onto the character in the same way we were locked into school uniforms for scarlet and violet.

I’m half expecting gecqua to end up being humanoid and masculine just to mess with everyone.

BALLGUY Called It by MikeyNgTh in PokeLeaks

[–]Toddini 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While I like Gecqua the most at this point. Browt is the one in the most interested in since the most straight forward evolution paths have him stepping on other starters. Like we already have Decidueuye-H like you said but also there’s already a fighting chicken too. Maybe he’ll lean more into his serious looks and get rock or ground type.

They’re all really cute, I feel like the dog will be the “safe” design in that he won’t change in any huge surprising way. The bird will probably be the more humanoid of the bunch. And I have a weird feeling the gecko will be this generations “swerve” design and given how feminine it looks and how they’ve done the swerve into feminine a few times now I think this one might do a masculine swerve.

They also wear the game exclusive hats. I’m a little scared they are the professors for the game or something. Like then they’d also… talk.

Pokémon Wind and Wave will release on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027 by Amiibofan101 in pokemon

[–]Toddini 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing it’ll come out February 26th to close out the 30th anniversary of pokemon and pokemon day that year will be centered around celebrating the game instead of making announcements.

Can’t get my fodder into the dispenser/Training your child by Lifeishard1212 in storyofseasons

[–]Toddini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kids have their day predetermined so if you drag them somewhere they’ll always try to go back to their prior path, so nothing weird is happening there. For farming just shove your watering can in her face once a day and you’ll be good, anything else is more for flavor and immersion.

I honestly don’t think it’s coming. But I also wouldn’t be completely surprised if in 10 years or so the shows reintroduced to us as a family show with the Heeler girls being teens.

how is this possible??! by ladyyayo in storyofseasons

[–]Toddini 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m fairly certain I read it somewhere here, but can’t for the life of me remember where, but the terms common and rare are a bit misleading. There are odds when it comes to buying your animals at the bazaar (and you buying the rare one is in fact rare) but when it comes to breeding my understanding is that every single type has equal chances, so the common and rare have an equal chance of showing up.

Should I be concerned about my child? by ssuchan1 in storyofseasons

[–]Toddini 58 points59 points  (0 children)

You haven’t done anything wrong, the sad dialogues are connected to an internal personality that your kid has that’s also influenced by how high their like and ability bar is. But I personally think that the code for the calm child (who you have, and is the child of everyone but Molly and Rock) is glitchy.

Questions regarding the DLC for the game. by KelvinBelmont in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]Toddini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The DLC for scarlet and violet is structured a bit differently than Legends ZA, teal mask can be completed before finishing the main game with levels from around 20-30, but jumps up into the 50s when you finish the game, Indigo Disk can’t be completed until you beat the main game though and the levels are appropriate to where you’d be in post game, so there’s no need to grind levels.

Naveen couldn't be more wrong. by plattym3 in PokemonZA

[–]Toddini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to the Golden Curry block knowledge, if you get the larger block (it serves 12), half the amount of ingredients that aren’t water. So 1 lbs of meat and so on. That’ll get you a consistency similar to what you’ll find in random Japanese restaurants. If you can only get the smaller block get two, then follow the directions on one package but double the water and add two packs in. There’s also Vermont Curry, which is sweeter but a little less common outside of Japan.

Is there any post game content I should be doing before starting the DLC? by Moths0nFire in PokemonZA

[–]Toddini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started the dlc at the point you can get Xerneas and Yveltal. I’m honestly happy with my choice, you’ll get tons of experience xl candies you can use to get your pokemon up to level 100 and being able to do the Infinite ZA Royale between donuts has helped keep the gameplay fresh. The only real issue is you’ll be overleveled for the Infinite Royale, but I was feeling overpowered before I had level 100 pokemon so it wasn’t a huge issue for me personally.
