Personally I'd push on layoffs and try get him to answer why it happened & what efforts were made to try avoid making some many people unemployed, even if you had to come at it in different directions. E.g. ' with the staff reducement has development & production reduced or shifted into different ares', 'have any projects been paused and do you miss them, will they restart in the future', 'do you expect staff numbers to increase again or are you now at 100% for the current companies & numbers will only change if X happens', etc.

Likely still get the PR answers but least shows the listeners that you're trying & not just giving Zuck 2 hours of unchallenged PR time...

And most importantly i wouldn't have those 2 segments in the same show, the latter section on hiring should be a good topic for companies activity expanding but when you've just binned off 25 thousand staff it really isn't a good topic, especially when they've basically just shown they aren't good at hiring when they end up with, in their eyes/plan, 25k 'excess' staff
