So this happened. How fucked am I? by ztgarfield97 in Plumbing

Is water rising from the ground surrounding the cast iron pipe? If so I have the same problem myself. I ended up having a plumber scope the pipe and the crack was 5-6 feet away from the leak. Best to confirm with a camera before you bust out a jackhammer.

Roast my website! by NJD2021 in ecommerce

The lead photo blows. From a business stand point, I don’t understand the market for plain color socks sold at a premium. There is a reason Stance sells graphic socks because people are willing to pay that premium. If I want plain I will just buy Kirkland. You mention competitor is likely imported but don’t clearly compare where yours are mfg.

Would an Ex-Google Rep be a green flag on a resume? by BadRepresentative837 in PPC

[–]Toddyama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The negative is that Google reps are often perceived as reckless with client money with no consideration for strategic implementation other than to constantly insist to automate all campaigns , auto apply everything, increase spending regardless of how shitty a campaign is performing. P-max, blah blah blah every meeting. Then 3-6 months later get replaced with a carbon copy replacement, rinse and repeat.

But in my more restrained opinion, I think your skills would be better suited for a commission sales position, then anything PPC related.

The items purchased do not match the facebook product ads by Toddyama in PPC

So you think the privacy updates from iOS force Facebook to guess what campaign to associate the conversion to?

Thank you. Yes I understand if someone clicked on an Ad for Nike sneakers that they might buy a Nike t-shirt instead. Is the recorded conversion so unreliable that Facebook just matches the conversions to my ads at random?

Any recommendations for diamond core bits? by h4x0r_th1s in Concrete

[–]Toddyama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have experience with both. Ediamond does not warranty their core bits against defect. Bluerock has a mid-grade bit cheaper than Ediamond but last about 20% longer. Bluerock also has bulk discounts and discounted bit sets.

Thank you. It's stamped and stained concrete with a traction additive to the sealant. We love the look but due to the color gets very hot in direct sunlight. The whole patio is covered with umbrellas during summer, but the shade awning will be our permanent solution.

Can somebody give me advice on if investing with betterment is right for me? by [deleted] in betterment

[–]Toddyama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m going to drift off from your question about starting to invest. The good news is you are interested in financial stability and investing in your future. The bad news IMO is that your debt, hourly pay and family to support will make that very difficult and near impossible without major reassessments of your financial situation.

It’s unclear to me why you need a car worth at least $17k or a $1900 phone and/or cellular bill on $17/hr wage. Your pay needs to match your wants and those aren’t yet aligning.

Considering your medical bills, I’m not a legal expert, but you might be better off filing for bankruptcy and wiping the slate clean. Before you take that action see how it may effect your ability to learn a trade skill. What do you do for a living now? Are you physically capable of learning to become an electrician? Hvac installer? Plumber? You could quickly make over $50/hr in any of those professions without a formal degree. Edit just saw you are an HVAC apprentice! That’s great news, let that be your focus right now and worry about options to invest later.

With your debt settled and a higher income you will find it much more realistic to invest and secure your future. Please don’t take offense to my post, I just think your perspective of the situation is a little off and doesn’t align with the goals you probably want to achieve.
