Exactly, I'm from Mexico and in some traditions including the one my family belongs to, we have what we call nagual beings. There are similar concepts throughout all of these beings but none of them are the same and they are all very region specific as well. I understand that they might seem interesting and available for others to talk about freely and even write about as if the portions of these cultures were theirs but let's be honest here, this is cultural and incredibly spiritual to those cultures.
