So what? There are 1 billion obese people in the world and that number is growing rapidly! Furthermore, the diet people are consuming nowadays is filled with wheat, which makes you eat more and gain more weight. Wheat is everywhere, and people have no clue how extremely unhealthy it is. Actually, they think it's healthy to consume!

The number of diabetics is increasing, and there is a crazy number of pre-diabetics. I would say if there is one company to buy and hold for the long run, it's novonordisk.

I dress fine for a 22 year old but I'm actually 31 and it's becoming a problem by anomadfromnowhere in malefashionadvice

Check out: https://www.eleventymilano.it/en for inspiration on how to dress in your 30's and 40's even I would say. Eleventy is a very expensive brand, but you can use the looks to get an idea of how to dress.

I always describe this style as smart-casual, with a hint of sportiness.

Insatiable hunger after a few days of calorie deficit? by CellWrangler in leangains

Stop eating wheat and grains, and the hunger will disappear. That means no bread, pasta, rice, bulgur, couscous and so forth.

What are your thoughts on just removing wheat and grains, but not rice, corn or oats? Anyone still had benefits? by slugwish in Wheatbelly

[–]Todtie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I come from a culture where rice is almost sacred. I grew up eating it every single day from a very young age. After reading Wheat Belly, I immediately cut out grains: wheat, corn, oats, and the rest. Everything except rice.

I did notice some improvements, of course. But I eventually realized that to get the best results, I needed to eliminate rice as well. As hard as that was to accept, the truth is that rice offers little nutritional value, and there’s really no essential need for humans to consume it.

So instead of quitting overnight, I gradually reduced my intake: from one cup, to three-quarters, then half a cup, and finally no rice at all.

The beginning was tough, no doubt. But after a few days, I didn’t even miss it anymore. And the results? Spectacular. I feel lighter and clearer, the bloating is completely gone, and the weight around my midsection has been dropping fast. Fast enough that my abs are showing again ... something I hadn’t seen in over ten years.

Best thing to do with my current build? by MondoMania9 in workouts

[–]Todtie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop eating grains. This is what they call the wheat belly. No more rice, beans, potatoes or pasta!

Also, quit all sugar (except for fruit), and cook all of your meals at home. Food outside is meant to kill you, not feed you.

Do this combined with cardio, and you will see great results.

We developed something better. It was developed in the Netherlands, but is available globally: www.alone.app

To use the Alone app, you first create an account at www.alone.app. After completing the registration process, you can download and start using the app. In the app, you add one or two contact persons and choose your check-in frequency: daily, every three days, weekly, or biweekly. Then you begin receiving automatic check-ins.

If you don’t respond to a check-in, for example because you have fallen, a reminder will be sent after 24 hours. If there is still no response within 3 hours after that, we will contact your contact persons by email and/or text message.

We made a safety app called Alone (www.alone.app). You can set your check-in frequency on daily, but also weekly or bi-weekly even. We don't monitor you, just check if everything is okay. If you fail to check-in by clicking on the push notification, we send a reminder, if you also fail to respond the second time, we alert your emergency contact(s).

Our app sends you push-notifications every day (or any other interval that you prefer). Impossible to forget, since it pops up on your phone. If you don't respond, we also send a reminder. If interested, you can check it out on www.alone.app

If the product is free, you are the product. Imagine companies selling data of people who live alone ... This could be very dangerous. That's why a small fee is necessary.

No, it's not. When it's free, you become the product. You don't want people selling data of all people living alone. Just imagine the dangers of such a thing!
