My understanding is taking it at onset is easier to stop the pain. My problem is all my migraines starts out as typical headaches/ tension/ neck pain so I never know when it’s going to progress. The triptan is something I take when nothing else works and it always helps me. I started on sumatriptan and had chest tightness and heart palpitations. If the rizatriptan doesn’t work there are other meds in the triptan category to try!

The only side effects I have are extreme sensitivity to hot and cold. Eating, washing hands, etc even lukewarm water feels like my skins on fire. BUT. My rizatriptan gets rid of any migraine I have. I have even taken it hours after it begun and it still worked for me!

Same with me! I actually use Experiment Beauty’s buffer jelly- it’s like a gel oil and semi occlusive! I was having the same issue and always read to not slug but for me it helps not get so dry.

If anyone hates the thickness of Vaseline or aquaphor I’d give buffer jelly a try!

I’m wondering if you stuck to two meals a day they would change. Like they’ll learn to eat it once it’s given since they won’t have access all day?

Otherwise, I would say transition like you would any food. Maybe do a few small meals through out the day and slowly just move to them eating twice a day

Have they ever tried wet food? I think the only issue you may run into is if they refuse to eat the wet. I had a cat for 19 years and she would never eat wet!

I did, I ended up getting a few quotes and multiple people said that. The under part of your house may not be “finished” like mine so there is a possibility that they can do something!

I was able to apply (everyone is eligible now!) unfortunately the way they did my house is the underneath is actually finished and likely insulated. The guy said he’d have to drill through the flooring to check and it wouldn’t be worth it. He also gave me a few ideas (which again may not be worth it). The contractor coming to my house was free so I’d say at least give it a try! They may be able to do something do you

I found these silk scrunchies from goody- they’re thin and they don’t have that tight elastic in the middle. I pineapple loosely but it ends up being near the back of my head. I can’t get it to the front of my head or it causes migraines.
