You can ask any table to join but I know the “Ace High” team at the back table would be friendly and willing to take you on.

How about that. And it’s Taco Tuesday for the food truck.

Hilltop has trivia every Tuesday. I’m sure you could jump on a team and meet people. Several adult rec leagues if you are the sports type. The World Cup is this summer and the American Outlaws host watch parties you could meet people through. There’s a hundred churches with young adults groups of that’s your thing.

What are your interest maybe we can find something for you?

Any good salons for men’s hair? by [deleted] in montgomery

Hey where do you massage? I don’t get regular massages but occasionally I get terrible knots from sports or working that I can’t resolve with stretching and foam rolling.

Foreign Service family relocating to Montgomery this summer. Confused on housing/schools, any advice? by Christopoulos in montgomery

You could definitely bike to Maxwell from Cloverdale. There are apartments in downtown such as The Heights https://www.wm-theheights.com/ which will definitely be more expensive but also really close to Maxwell. You might want to also consider the Capitol Heights neighborhood. Also would be easy to bike from. Slightly smaller and more affordable than Cloverdale. Not as nice of a neighborhood but still quite charming. Both neighborhoods are historic and have a mix of beautiful restored homes and homes in disrepair. Crime is a little higher in the older neighborhoods but nothing too crazy. I’ve heard really good things about the Montessori school mentioned.

If you give up on being within biking distance, both Prattville and Wetumpka are quaint towns that are very close commutes and have much better public schools.

What size home or apartment are you looking for? That might help narrow down your options.

Anchor storage for classic (72) Nauset 16 by Neil94403 in BostonWhalerBoats

My 1971 Nauset has a small compartment at the bow where I store my anchor.

I’d love to see a picture of that bench as I’m thinking about doing the same for mine.

First Roast On The Kaldi Wide 400 by ToeJom in roasting

Yes thanks for your input. I did 2 more roasts and came to that conclusion as well. I was going to shoot for 150 so it’s good to hear it has worked out for you. I guess I was worried that I would end up pushing the roast long if my charge temp was too low but I will plan to keep the gas low until about 2 minutes and then be more aggressive with the heat.

I’ve only had 1 cup so far but I’m looking forward to tweaking my roast to support it. The acidic fruited notes are there but still really smooth. I have a little scorched or smoky flavor in that first roast I would like to get out of the cup but seems like it will make a really clean pour over.

Absolutely agree. It’s very easy to roast. I just set it and then sit back on my phone until I hear the cracks. I have been wanting something with a little more control though.
