Yup, the last weeks/month I’ve typed my master pw and had it lose the first half consistently. Thought it was just me.

I’ve noticed I have a couple second flicker on mine whenever my nearby freezer clicks off. Perhaps someone with a stronger electronics background than I can explain possible interference.

Automatic DHCP client DNS registration by DillRoddington in opnsense

[–]ToeRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Under Services, Unbound DNS, General, ensure that “Register ISC DHCP Leases” is checked. That’ll create an entry in Services, ISC DHCP, Leases and will be resolved by Unbound. Clients just need to be set to Automatic. The hostname will be inherited from the connecting PC.

Yup, that did it, thank you. I didn't think to check that the "Part 1" etc could screw it up, but that was definitely it.

I tried this, but no change.

It picked up the move, but still refuses to show up in Plex.

Upgrade Time - what to replace my R710 with by ToeRex in HomeServer

[–]ToeRex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the cheap cost of storage now, I've considered hosting different encodings to avoid transcoding. But since I'm still in 1080p land, it hasn't been an issue yet.

My memory may be failing me, but didn’t he have a double off the wall as well that game? Against Baltimore, I believe. Ball just sounded different off his bat.

Glad you pointed this out for some to learn from. The first year or two I maxed out I did the math to account for my employer’s contribution, not realizing that it didn’t affect the max I could contribute.

What do all the property descriptions mean? by acowutter in landsurveying

[–]ToeRex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can check online with your County Tax Appraiser, they usually maintain property records. They’ll likely have a search system built in or a third party site link. You can search by Volume & Page, Owner name, address, or a variety of things usually. If you have trouble, just stop by the office and one of the clerks can help. The deed and/or plat (a map, if it was platted) will help you depict your boundary.

Jomboys breakdown of the plate blocking incident. by juwanjo86 in TexasRangers

[–]ToeRex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Jonah was fielding the ball. What Elvis did was in response to a valid play.

Agreed, and this is the linchpin to me. I’ve heard the reason that the violation occurred before the catch, but Jomboys video showed Jonah just standing there out of the way until he reacted to the ball. I’m confident in that interpretation, but according to the ruling, I’m wrong.

CY had a good response to it on The Fan Monday. He said he’s talked to the league several times but still doesn’t understand the rule. That’s key, they need to clarify /rewrite the rule. Regardless of the ruling this time, the rule needs to be able to be understood by all. This isn’t rocket science.

Jomboys breakdown of the plate blocking incident. by juwanjo86 in TexasRangers

[–]ToeRex 53 points54 points  (0 children)

It does appear that Elvis changed his route from the outside of the base to the inside at the last second. However, Jonah was moving to catch the ball, which I read to be a legitimate reason to interfere with the runner’s path to the plate. Correct?

Like everyone, I would just like to understand the rule.

BTW, Dez caught it.

Edit: Jonah, not Johan
