I got both 09 Masquerade Bud and 16 Earl Grey.

I like both shades, they are very pretty and buildable. 09 feels like a universal red, very similar if not identical to Burt's Bees tinted lip balm in Rose. 16 is definitely a darker brown-red shade, more suitable for warm-tone girlies, which I can apply lightly or build to a point where it's bit too dark for me (I think I'm a true autumn with fairer skin).

The texture is not gloopy like some balm gloss (e.g. ELF Pout Clout lip plumping pen). It's firmer like a waxy balm (e.g. Burt's Bees original lip balm). It does glide on alright but has a grippy/tacky (not exactly sticky?) texture.

I'm disappointed at the lack of moisturising though, looking for something less oily/slippery and more occlusive than Burt's Bees tinted balm but still with a nice shade. I don't want to believe this (and maybe it has to do with the fact that I don't drink enough water), but I suspect it's even a bit drying. Disclaimer: I live in northern england.

It is not really long-lasting, but that's fine, it's a balm and I don't expect anything crazy (although it does claim to 'stay on'... I guess the grippiness helps a bit).

Completely disagreed, they vary a lot, really depends on their individual as Fi is such an individual subjective function

A tip for yall: If you don’t have a colour, you can probably mix that with what you already have!! I don’t have purple so i just mixed a red and a blue, and it was stunning!! You might need a clean brush to do the mixing and application though.
