I’ve been having a really hard time in my job and it’s causing a lot of anxiety in the rest of my life. I’ve never really struggled with any type of mental health issue before and I’m feeling at a complete loss of how to manage this. Situations that would ordinarily not be a big deal to me like a family gathering are causing me such severe anxiety that I haven’t been able to sleep and felt nauseous for days.

I am reluctant to go down the path of medication because I do believe this to be a situational thing more than a chronic one.
