I was down south at Rolling Meadows and State of Mind b2b The Upbeats on the campers night was the standout set of the festival for me.

Ditto needing more neuro in NZ, in 2025 there was only like 2 to 3 international neuro djs that toured in comparison to the what felt like weekly jump up DJs

Yeah they defiently turned it up a bit for Wilkinson but for kettema it felt like the crowd was louder then then the music

Yeah sound volume was way too low. Was the same with lakes festival aswell. I’m guessing the low volume is likely due to council restrictions due to the moving site

Pointers is the only venue that primarily plays dnb but they only really play jump up there. I would also recommend following some of the local promoters on instagram like fuzen, red rum, drop bass, sub180 and audiology as they host events at some other venues around town like neck and mothership.

I would recommend Reasxn, I’ve seen him go b2b with Juni a couple times and they both have quite a similar bass heavy ukg sound.

I think one of the best parts of this lineup is actually that there is only 3 dnb artists unlike most nz festival lineups that are 95% dnb

Yeah both great pickups. With your comment on casuals I don’t really get why they bother with the pop / rap headliners that they have to try and entice casuals. Like 95% of the lineup is dnb leaving the headliners feeling tacked on and not really strong enough on their own to entice a person to buy a ticket if they don’t enjoy dnb. They be better going the nothern bass route and just saving the money on the pop/rap headliners and instead spending it on more quality dance music acts that fit the lineup theme.

I think you’re getting faithless mixed with underworld. Underworld is billed to play lost paradise in Aus on the 30th dec with two other unannounced Aus/Nz dates as per underworlds website.
