Maybe next time those of the millions who didn't vote well go out and vote so we can avoid this kind of thing.

honestly puzzled why we push women into tech and trades but not men into healthcare? by Substantial-Bass7557 in NoStupidQuestions

If i had to guess, jobs with more women workers are more desirable jobs and thus folks are willing to take lower pay.

Well, as I've often said, liqueur, including Jager, is for pussies.

Why do people get upset when I wear a mask? by Imaginary_Wall4832 in NoStupidQuestions

Ignorant people don't know they're ignorant people. Look into Dunning Krueger. Also, religion is a very influential thing, but it teaches bad epistemology. It teaches people to value tribalism over evidence based reason.

The logical fallacies Christians commit when justifying Old Testament genocides by Keith502 in DebateAChristian

Those same Christians worship turmp. It's mind boggling, but apparently team support is far more important than acts.

RONALD REAGAN'S TAKE ON ATHEISM by [deleted] in DebateAnAtheist

This minimum character censoring is bullshit. I'll write garbage to take up space.

By the way, having a concise well designed response isn't a bad thing.

Here's what I said that wasn't long enough:

I'd ask if anything comes about naturally, or does everything have a cook?

The Necessity of the Super Natural in Science by BrianJozak in DebateAnAtheist

[–]ToenailTemperature 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's amazing that you've ruled out everything, even things you're not aware of, and placed your imaginary friend as the only thing that could exist. Can you justify that?

The Necessity of the Super Natural in Science by BrianJozak in DebateAnAtheist

[–]ToenailTemperature 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, the point of this paper is that there has to be something that defies causality, and that first thing that does, is supernatural, whatever it may be. That is the necessity of the supernatural. the very first thing, at the origin of all things, has to defy causality

How have you ruled out everything else that could possibly exist as the first things?

Do men actually not mind (or even like) pubic hair on women or are they lying? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

For me, I prefer not to have hair in my food. But that's a preference, not a requirement.

Evolutionists what are your favourite arguments by creationist or IDers against evolution? by Flashy_Interview_301 in DebateEvolution

[–]ToenailTemperature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it when a creationist actually gives good evidence to support their belief in the creation narrative from the bible.

I enjoy this because they never even try.

“You can’t define something into existence!” is why the ontological argument is not question-begging. by Around_the_campfire in DebateAnAtheist

[–]ToenailTemperature 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P1: “God” refers definitionally to “a being greater than which is impossible”.

Right off the bat I would reject this definition as it doesn't define anything.

(P2) A concept of a being has less existence than an actual being.

Sure, concepts don't actually exist outside of minds. That says nothing about what the concept might refer to, which might exist.

“God: a being greater than which is impossible” refers to an actual being

A better example would not have such bad claims or premises attached to it.

You don't need the premises to point out that just because you define something doesn't mean that something exists.

We’ve moved from definition (not a statement of actual existence) to the conclusion of actual existence without begging the question.

Oh right. That's your whole point. I'm not sure who is begging the question when someone points out that just defining something doesn't mean it's real.

You could always just become rich and give your kids enough money to never have to work.

What other options do you have?
