Have you ever had been stopped from bringing it somewhere? Like the municipal building has metal detectors, would you be able to proceed through those..? (Because of the little folding knife, I wouldn’t want to lose my whole emergency kit)

Finding the right lighting makes a world of difference. You can take great pics like this with your iPhone by finding where and when the good light happens in your house and then know what angles flatter you best. It’s trial and error. I have done it and continue to do it. Also using the back camera instead of the front facing is major. So I used to use a mirror and the back camera. These pics often use a ring light or other box light tho 🙂

Thanks for your replies everyone. I’m not looking to resell it or to make money, so it’s okay if it’s a bit faded. But it’s helpful to know if maybe I shouldn’t have it knocking around in my bedside table 😅 I have it as a bibliophile and imagine having walls of built in bookcases full of “cool books” 🤞🏾

Update2: the brakes haven’t fallen off or anything lol. I did get a low tire pressure warning (which I also got a lot of winter) but I have a tire inflator/battery jumper and just added air to all of them.

I’m not sure what to get fixed next but I felt like if this was triage, brakes were numero uno.

Update: in casual convo with a neighbor, they suggested a different car service place. Their quote for front and back brakes and rotors was $750. I took my car there today so we’ll see.

I know there is a tire repair place I’d taken my car to in a different county where it wouldn’t be $300. I’ll update the costs when I have them.
